At least I don't think so The skin is ready for download, I posted a link and a new thread in the skinning forum, but since noone seems to look there I thought I post it here as well. http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=88484 That's the thread, have a try. Grafox
Garik, pppplleeeeeease add some shading to his hair, it looks so monochromatic as it is now. Otherwise, superb skin.
Eldritch
I'm inclined to agree with Grafox about the hair... other than that, I think it looks great! The face looks really eerie/scary. Great job.

Otherwise, superb skin. Hm, you could be right. I've made it on another computer, but now that I'm home again I see that my monitor has different color settings, not so dark, and yes, it IS too monochromatic. I'll change that. The file has to be named exactly like the .skin file, so in your case it's model_default_sith.surf And you only have to add one line into the file: surfOff "robe torso_robe" This will remove the robe in the game for the sith obi. Garik Loran
Is this better? I'm always open for critics, at least the skin has to be good.

Garik Loran
I think now I got it. But since you are more experienced with this I would like to hear your opinion. And if there is something not right you can tell me, even if it's the thousondth time. I want to make this hair perfect.
El Sitherino
try and darken it as you go down the head (the hair that is)
Azrael
His hair is supposed to be a dark dark blonde, if I remeber correctly. And instead of having light with dark highlights, try darker with lighter hightlights. Right now, he kinda looks like he belongs in a boy band. boinga1
yes, hair's too bright, reminds me of that on the TrueAnakin, only golder...and just for the record, despite what comics show, I really don't think Palpatine would be a blonde.
Garik Loran
Ok, the hair is the most tricky part, and I'm not pleased with it until you are. So I'm still tweaking it, and I hope I will get some real not too yellow blonde hair. Here's my next try, opinions please edit: and an ingame shot

Could be, but remember, that's just a clone with palpatines spirit. Maybe it isn't a clone of himself, or maybe the growing process changes his genetics or something. I know it's just comics, but on every pic I saw his skin was bronze, not flesh color, so this could be the deal.

Grafox
Hey, it's me again, I've made a little pic, showing the things that could improve imho.
Garik Loran
Well, it's impossible to darken just the parts under his chin, because of the model. If you make some parts dark you get some form like moons and triangles. So I think I'm gonna keep it the way it is. I redid the hairpart, not as shiny as you did, but I think it looks more realistic now. I also added some shadow to forehead, so his hair looks more like the one on the picture. And IMO it looks more like natural blonde now, not like mine before.
Grafox
Aaah, yes, looking good now, very good. About the shadow on the forehead, make the edges more soft Then it's perfect.
Garik Loran
Ok, I did it like you said, I must say it looks really good now. What do all you others think? Here's my Robed_Icon.

Azrael
That is much better shading than the origional. Just as a suggestion, since the hair line isn't exactly the same as the pictures, why not make the shadows on his forhead rounded to match with the hairline of the model. Even though the clone emperor had a widow's peak, it is kinda strange seeing someone with a widow's peak shadow, without the widow's peak. Just a suggestion that may look better.
