Fishbrain
Does anyone here still have the code wheel around that you need to play Monkey Island 1? For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm referring to this thing. I found my old Monkey Island CD yesterday after a loong loong time, and now I have the strong urge to PLAY it. All I need now is said wheel. So if anyone still has it, could you please scan it in and send it to me (PM or eMail, whatever you prefer). Thanks in advance. Note: Of course I do own the game, I just seem to have lost the code wheel.
ThunderPeel2001
"Fishbrain" is right! You don't need the code-wheel to play the CD version! Now why don't I believe you're telling the truth? ~ John
Benny
Perhaps not quite true, the original vga cd release may have still required the codewheel I cant remember, nevertheless we cant supply you with one. Contact Lucasarts support.
Fishbrain
Well, you don't have to believe me. Fact is though, that I got from a PC magazine's CD and when I tried to play it, it started with the history quiz.
ThunderPeel2001
Yes, the PC Gamer edition? I didn't realize that they'd printed all the codes in the magazine so people could play it?? ~ John
