LiMP RABBiT Posted November 5, 2002 Posted November 5, 2002 Ahhhhhh. Tell me it isn't true all you lucky americans who get games months before me. Recent reviews tell me Star Fox Adventures is... is... terrible. After so much hype and all it looked like a master of a game. Apparently, reviewers weren't impressed. Put my mind at ease.
Boba Rhett Posted November 5, 2002 Posted November 5, 2002 Where did you read these reviews? It's at least a solid 8 game and a must buy if you only have the GC.
LiMP RABBiT Posted November 6, 2002 Author Posted November 6, 2002 Few. Thanx. I might have to try it. My mags say that is extremely uneventful and you constantly think its gonna get better.
Boba Rhett Posted November 6, 2002 Posted November 6, 2002 It's got some downfalls and if you think you're in for a "zelda" think twice, but it's good enough to warrant buying.
mercatfat Posted November 6, 2002 Posted November 6, 2002 Here's a little hint: Don't read reviews. At least rent the game and form your own opinions.

Do what mercatfat said and hire it out and see for yourself, it's the best way.
LiMP RABBiT Posted November 7, 2002 Author Posted November 7, 2002 Heres my hint: read reviews, hire the game, then buy it. The only downside with hiring a game, though, is that it takes away the feeling you get when you first play a brilliant game.
Lynk Former Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 I mostly read the previews, then read a lil bit of the reviews (the bits without the writers opinion) then If that still hasn't convinced me I'd hire out the game and decide from there...
