Andy867
St Louis city is nuts tonight.. Luckily I am not part of that traffic tonight... But I heard Warner will be starting, and that Bulger will be back on the bench, but then Faulk might not get much time since he didnt practice this weekend. Also. Its not IMPOSSIBLE for the RAMS to make it to the super Bowl. if they go 11-5, thats not a bad season. One wouldn't even think that they lost the first 5 with an 11-5 record. But then again, this isn't a movie, so who knows. Sure I live just east of st Louis on the IL side, but I still am a hockey fan and come this saturday night, I will be sitting behind the St Louis goalie chanting evil spells so that he can't stop the puck :-D GO COLORADO!!! BigTeddyPaul
Why talk about the Rams when St. Louis has the Blues? Best team in St. Louis. The reason that Americans do not call American football something like Handball or Logball is because we are cixelsyd and stupid and want to give the birdie to Europeans. We think we are superior and in some ways we are but not by many. Europeans far out weigh us in that manner. Handball sounds gay also. No way man, Rams rule. Last night's game was insane, they are incredible, im really happy. The reason I like the team is cuz im from Los Angeles, and so are they, Ive liked em for quite a while, throughout all those bad seasons, and now they are startign to do well
Andy867
If I am not mistaken, with greatness comes victory, and according to the records, St Louis Blues have NEVER won the Stanley Cup. Now on the other Hand, Colorado has won it twice since moving from Quebec, where even there, they won o. But as far as for the Rams, they have actually won a championship. The Blues are probably the only Pro team in St Louis that hasn't won a championship for the City. Now, I could be wrong, because I don't keep up With St Louis Ambush (if it is still around)

BigTeddyPaul
Granted the Blues have never won a cup in their existence they have reached the finals a few times. The reason they are the best team in St. Louis RIGHT NOW is they have the best record without their best forward, without their best defensman, without their best goalie, and with a whole bunch of rookies and sophmores and juniors. They one of the leading teams in goals a game and the ONLY THING they are lacking is Penalty Kill. Their Power Play is one of the best. They have gone through Sanford, Rudkowsky, Divis, Brathwaithe, and Barrasso as goalies and Johnson still hasn't come back as their #1 guy. I would like to see the Rams with their #6 QB out there and see his record. The Rams have been losing with their best (Martz is an idiot) and they won yesterday even without the assistance of Faulk. BUT they were playing the Bears. I mean come on! The Blues' record 11-4-1 right now. They have less losses than the Rams and they have played 6 more games. The Rams are good but in my humble opinion the Blues are better. Go Rams and Blues! BigTeddyPaul
Andy867
Well, come Saturday, I will be sitting right behind the blues Goalie chanting curses for him to do bad and when patrick roy is in the net in Period #2, I will be chanting good luck charms on him to shut the blues out Hehe.. Taos
Since this is more about the Rams.....I'm gonna throw my .02 about the QB situation. Kurt Warner should sit the bench until this guy that is playing now proves otherwise. He is on a roll (5 wins) and is really feelin' it out their on the field. Keep the new guy in I say! Let Kurt rest and be ready later on in the season.........if they need him to be, of course!!
Yoda_623
I don't really like the Rams. Maybe it was because they beat my team, The Raiders. Oh well, they gotta heck of a run going right now though.
FatalStrike
What happens next week. Warner comes back against a team known for hurting QB's. The redskins ended Troy Aikmans Career and gave Bret Farve the only injury of his career. If I were a slow QB on my first day back, I wouldn't want Lavar Arrington chasing me around. Also next year what do the Rams do to keep them both? Either Bulger or Warner is going to be gone at the end of the season. You can't have two starters of their caliber on one team for long. I am doomed to be a skins fan so I say the rams can have Matthews AND Wuerffel for either of them.

Let's see how they finish out the year and then make a decision. I'm curious to see how well this Buldger guy will continue to play! I hope he does well. As for Warner, if Buldger finishes the year off well, I say get rid of Kurt. How many MVP qb's have finished their carreers on different teams? Well, first off I can name Joe Montana, I think Fran Tarkenton as well. Heck, the Patriots just got rid of Drew Bledsoe and I think there are many good years left in that arm!! Oh well........I'm gonna enjoy the rest of the NFL season!!

To make it even St. Louis is just going to have to go to Denver here in the next few days and take that one from you guys. That was a good game for both teams although the Avs did play much better. You try playing without Sakic/Forsberg, Blake, and Roy and tell me how well you think you would do then. Do you think that Colorado would be open to undo the trade of Ruchinsky for Roy? I think St. Louis would. Next time and until then enjoy. BigTeddyPaul
Andy867
Yea, then come the day after x-mas, avalanche would just have to beat the blues then. Oh and you spoke of try playing without Forsberg/Sakic and Roy.. Well, 2001 we did play without Forsberg... And at times, without Forsberg or Roy. So, yes I know what it's like. But consider that St Louis didn't have any big scratches last night. They played with Pronger, and Nash, and Demitra, and Barasso. So, it was even match so to speak, and the Avalanche came out victorious.

Brent Johnson their #1 goalie still has not played a game due to injuries. What are you talking about? Also, NASH is a crap player and a 3rd liner. Not much will ever come from him. I do not like Nash if you cannot tell. Not an even match. Who was scratched from your team last night? Oh well! It makes no difference sine St. Louis will beat you on Wednesday. Have fun!
