DracoFXB
Hello everyone, I'm a huge newbie at this game. I just got the game yesterday and installed it and it's playing well. The main thing I don't like how how F**king long the 1st level is. I also tried the online portion and I really liked it, better then single player. Well I've been online and I've seen ALOT. I've seen people fighting with double-bladed lightsabers, I've seen people in Darth Vader costumes and all that good stuff. Well I do knw how you get that type of stuff, you download it. And a site like this is a great place to do that. Well how do I go about doing that? The main thing I'm concerned about is downloading costumes like Anakin and Vader, and new objects like double-bladed lightsabers. Also, what is the difference between a Skin and a Model? I need someone or everyone to help me out here and explain in detail how do I download stuff and then make it appear in the game. Also I work for http://www.funxbox.com. We will be hosting a contest in which we will be giving away 3 copies of Jedi Outcast on the Xbox. Draco -- FunXbox Staff
TheMadDoofer
First, download what you want wherever you feel like. Then unzip it with Winzip or some other extracting program to open it up. When you have created a new folder by unzipping, put the .pk3 file in the Gamedata/Base folder in your Jedi Outcast directory.

Okay, that is exactly what I do but EVERY time I get this Error messege when I try to unzip it: Error: Access is denied Cannot create: E:\GAMEDATA\GameData\True_anakin_fixed.pk3 Why is that? Why? Is that the problem. If so, then where do I go to put it in the gamedata/base? Draco -- FunXbox Staff
TheMadDoofer
By Jedi Outcast directory, I don't mean the disk. It should be something like Program Files/lucasarts/Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast/Gamedata/Base.
Matt-Liell
yes go into prgramfiles/lucasarts/starwarsjediknightiijedioucast/gamedata/base as for sites to download them go to: http://www.jk2files.com http://www.jediknightii.net http://www.geocities.com/yaduskins http://www.jedicenter.com the difference between a model and skin is that a model is the building block, the shape of the player itself a skin is the images on top of the model too make cloathes textures and stuff like that!
