Rogue15
This game has got me anxious for next year already. What it is is an RPG, but allows you to do almost anything you want! You start out as a 15 year old kid (convinent for me! ) who wakes up to find his parents dragged off, and his dog nailed to the door post. Your life changes dramatically from there, for good...or EVIL. There's no storyline that you're forced to follow (your encouraged to i guess) but here's a list of cool things i hear that happen in the game: You age throughout the game. If you get battle damage, and don't apply a bandage you could get a scar for life. If you get pissed at a little kid and cut him, but don't kill him, 20 years later you could see the same kid as an adult, with the same scar, and he'll remember you and probably try to kill you. If you are eating a piece of fruit, a seed could drop on the ground, and a few years later you may see a tree there, but it's not likely you'll remember it. You can carve your name in that same tree, and it'll stay there. If you kill a man in one town, his friend, who lives in another town could be stalking you. You can sneak into people's houses late at night and steal stuff. There's werewolves in the game as well, and if you happen to be attacked by one, you could end up becoming one...for the rest of the game. If the people of the towns like you enough, you'll notice that the kids are getting haircuts and tatoos that resemble you. There's seasonal changes in the game, wind effects, and monsters. Here's an example of a character i'm going to make: He's going to start out as a goody-too-shoes kid, who likes to go into the woods late at night and explore, etc. he's going to become a monster/dragon slayer warrior, and he might get post-traumatic stress syndrome and end up killing off every grown-up or kid (not sure yet...) in a village, and then flee and run off to the woods, and go to another village and hang out there, and return to that village where he wiped out everybody but the children 10 years later to see if he can get some people to like him. He'll live in the woods, and not let anybody near, so maybe eventually some of the other 'hero-characters' in the game might try to hunt him down. You can also wear ANY clothes you see in the game, so if you see a guy with cool clothes that you want....kill him and take the clothes, only to find out that...damn. they don't fit! i just killed a guy for clothes that don't fit! well, some clothes will fit you. including woman's clothing. lol you can even walk around half-naked if you want. There's supposed to be alot of weapons in the game as well as magic and stuff. I can't wait to equip my guy with a mace and have him kicking monster ass and saving villages and then late at night breaking into people's houses and stealing their food and blaming it on goblins in the morning. This game comes out next year for X-Box, it might get delayed though, it says Winter 2003 is the release date, and they won't release it until it's totally ready. here's some sweet previews of the game at IGN: http://xbox.ign.com/articles/359/359900p1.html http://xbox.ign.com/articles/356/356079p1.html http://xbox.ign.com/articles/136/136526p1.html Sounds like KOTOR will just act like an appetizer for me. Darth Simpson
DoA is decent, but I know you buy it just for the booty Com. Soul Calibur is my favourite fighter ever. MK is high on the nostalgia meter.

Com Raven
hey, when I first played DoA on ps2, I knew nothing about the jiggle It's simply fun, combos are easier to pull, and technically DoA is always incredible
