Super J
my 20 day trial for milkshape has ended, and now i can't save or export any work. i know that gmax is free, but it requires online registration. the comuter that i need it on, is not, and cannot be conneted online. i have heard of maya, but i think it only supports winXP/2000. (i am running winMe) do u know of any other programs i could get. i just need to make weapons and other simple models. thanks

Psyk0Sith
You could also try G-max. http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/ It wont export the model but it's good for modelling.
Super J
g-max requires you to register online. the comuter i need it on is not online, and cannot be connected. is there anyway around that?
Commodus
I don't think it will be a problem.
Super J
well, it didn't work. it said that one of the dll's was corrupted and i needed to reinstall it. i am going to try on a comp with win2000 at school to make sure that it wasn't a bad file. any other suggestions? I think there's a solution for that, you import a .reg file and g-max thinks the copy is already registered. I never tested this file, but i can hunt it down and send it to you. Like i said no guarantee it will work.

Takeoffyouhoser
You could also try G-max. So, how does one get a model in game if you can't export with it? Also, any tutorials for dumbasses out there that will help me in my modeling adventures???
Psyk0Sith
euh .md3, i think G-Max supports it, but you need someone with 3D max to export it to .glm For tutorials, check this thread...dumbass http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=65669
