I'd imagine not. You'd be hard pressed to find a midi over 250K or so. Size shouldn't be a problem, especially since this is just people's profiles, not every post.

Uhh Ferg, Not to be rude or anything, but what kind of file did you want to convert to Midi? Or do you know what most midis sound like in that case? :D

I'm sure there is somewhere, there must be. I've never encountered one, though. That would be like hearing a song and then writing all the notes to it for every instrument used in it. So maybe there isn't a program to do it. Well, at least not one that readily available.

Still, there has to be someway to make them, i wonder if there is a program out there that lets you write them....

I always thought midis had to actually be played on a keyboard and recorded into a computer through a certain wire. If i thought right, then it wont be possible to change an mp3 or a wav file into a midi - you'll need to play your own midis or use one that someone else has played.

Yes there are a few programs to Convert other Midis into Midis-and no they don't have good quality, after all it's most likely just guessing at the instruments and notes, so it's never gonna be perfect-and I highly doubt words would work on them, period.

Yes there are programs to CREATE Midis-the one I had was called "Mozart" and you just write the notes to a song on Staves and assign certain instruments to certain staves.

Both types of programs can be found at:

I know for a fact that you can't have words. Unless you can make a guitar speak like that whathisname.

Anyways, not many peoples' sound cards have speech synthesizers, so it just woulnd't work to do speech.
