that happens to me alot, the "popup eliminator".

 

If you have to use a popup o advertise for it, then what's the point? I make it a rule to myself NOT to buy the things people advertise over the phone or in popups, discourage them from using those methods of advetisement.

I don't buy from them just because i would never trust something that advertises like that. I mean, would you trust something whose main tactic is to get people to accidentally click on a banner when they didn't want to?

Heh, now that you mention it that is pretty stupid.

 

I've learned not to pay attention to them anymore, if one comes up I just go down to the Start Menu's Bar and Right Click the Pop-up and Click Close. I'm my own blocker :D

some sites use popups to popup new windows - like eets' avatar site. I think a popup eliminator would stop those from coming up too :eek:

 

Hence, i don't use one, but then again, i don't feel the need to have another bit of ugly software on my already hammered and withered old computer... :)
