boinga1
I have made a map, but when I go to compile it, the sof2map.exe pops up for 1 second then goes away and the map will not compile. Are the project settings wrong? can anyone help?

Emon
Um, roq.exe has nothing to do with map compiling...
Leslie Judge
Yeah, I was wondering why he mentioned that. The project settings seem correct to me. How do you start the compile?

wedge2211
You might try reinstalling Radiant.
boinga1
Radiant reinstalled, still won't wok. I didn't mean roq.exe, i meant the map compiler.

Leslie Judge
If you have the latest GtkRadiant then try to run the q3map2 BSP -meta. If that works you can compile at least and that means your sof2map.exe has some trouble.
boinga1
wait, it's working now! (why, who knows). Now, my question is, how do I get a sky to work? all I get is a bunch of littl boxes instead of one huge box (i tried richdiesal but still don't get it). thanks to all the people who have tried to help. Leslie Judge
I think you should use the forum's search feature. There are several threads about making skies, so I think it's not necessary to post those information here again.
