Acrylic
Hello. I was wondering which PC Gamepads are really good and practically compatible with most games? I'd want to use it for Splinter Cell on PC when it comes out, and a few others.
Lord Glorfindel
Have you seen Microsofts Sidewinder Game Pad Pro? Its the best PC Game Pad that I have played with, and its great for Action games. Even the Sidewinder Plug and Play is a pretty good controller too. Katarn07
Only reason I don't have one is I don't know how many games are compatible with them. Is JO, for example? (Not that I'd want to play with it on JO, mouse is easier for FPSs)

Agen
I have a gamepad, it's a cheap budget one but it does the job properly for fifa and tekken 3. It's a logic 3 one. £5 a few years ago. Most work with all games that you can change your controls from default.

I have the same version of that only without rumble...it's the worst, most uncomforable pad I've ever used. Don't waste your cash!

mercatfat
Keyboards and Mice are superior for almost all PC games, which, of course, consist of mostly FPS games, RTS games and RPGs. If you have to get one, I say get a PS2 to USB adaptor. You have a PS2 already, so just go for something like this: http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=0&products_id=93&

mercatfat
Lik-Sang is trustable. I've ordered from them plenty of times.
Acrylic
So, do you know if the converter would work with: Hitman 2, Silent Assasin, and Splinter Cell?
mercatfat
It supports all games that support joypads, so why wouldn't it? Why not just get the console versions and enjoy them on a comfy couch with a large TV screen? Graphics don't mean much.
Acrylic
Well, for this game, at least to me, it does. It has to have all the realism, or it wont feel the same. Plus, the PS2 version is coming out in march, and I cant wait that long!
Guest Jed
You could always get an XBox.... Well, I know how you feel, I'm waiting for the PC version as well... ..But I'm a keyboard and mouse kind of guy. *shrugs*
mercatfat
Dude, it doesn't matter how good your PC can make it look. It'll still look and move like it's 3D. Trust me.

Check It Out HERE! Excellent choice. The only problem I have w/ the nostromo is the lack of buttons. I absolutely hate the shift settings...they're pointless. If this thing had an extra row of buttons it would be almost perfect. I can't wait for the N2.
Acrylic
Well, I dunno, maybe when I get the game, I'll try with the mouse and keyboard. It could work for me. *shrugs* P.s. Like my new glow???
