Ok everything sounded real awesome and i was really happy about how the game looked and all the features sounded cool untill i heard the combat system then it was like uggg i mean you guys say its real time but anytime you pick what your gonna do in a selection of moves then its turn based in my opinion so i guess im asking how the combat system works or am i wrong can someone explain it to me like do you pick the move out of a selection or is it like kool games like halo and morrowind where you can fight using free form way.

I hope you guys get what im sayin.

It is turned based, but Bioware has said that it is so fast that you won't notice it's turned based. It won't be like FF where you can see the character waiting for it's turn.

There will be day and night. I don't think we'll see transition from one to the next though. No weather(at least that's what they said a couple of months ago-I doubt it's changed).

The story hinges on you being a Jedi. Some members of your party will be bounty hunters. Also you can you many different types of weapons so you can probably act like a bounty hunter if you want to.

I think if you like RPGs and you like Star Wars even though you don't get to be a bounty hunter you'll like this game. Maybe when(if) they make the next one they'll make it so you can be a bounty hunter because a lot of people seem to want to be one.

Oh yeah, Welcome to LucasForums and StarWarsKnights.com!!!

Hannibal, are you going to show him the new official welcome picture? :p

Anyways, just to add to that, Bioware created a new combat system that is a 'hybrid' of the real-time and turn-based combat systems. It should be very interesting to see how it plays.

And all you punks with your xboxs' will be albe to play it before us pc owners. :(:p:D

Calo Nord is an NPC and a bounty hunter, assuming you get to play him. So probabaly in a way you can be a bounty hunter either through NPC's or just giving your own characters bounty hunter type weapons and doing some good role playing.

They like to refer to their combat system as quasi-realtime, meaning it can be almost turn-based by choosing all your options or you can walk in the room hit a button and watch it all play out, hence the real-time. :)

Thanks guys for answering my questions and for the welcoming (is that a word)

I Got one last question about the game will there be a podracing arena you can visit or a city that has podracers like in the game phantom of the menace if any of you played that game there was

a awesome level my favorite in the game where you could go through a racing arena and find people watching the race and there podracers everywhere, that would be cool if its not in their thats fine i just always liked that level of the game

Hey did anyone play Phantom of the menace.

Thanks swatteam, it's not called 'pod-racing.' Though it is very similar to it. You can bet on racers etc. Should be a fun minigame to play. :)

Well, of course you've never heard of it silly. They just created it. :p:D It's a hybrid of the two systems - meaning a combination of them. Now you can pause the game and choose from your displays like that if you want to....but as Hannibal said, the action is going to be happening very fast. :D

I've read about this in several different articles......I'm too tired to remember which ones they were....sorry. :(

First things first, periods and commas can be your friends, puncuation and multiple sentences are good for you ;)

Secondly the fighting system will be nothing like Halo OR Morrowind.....although those are indeed great games. (although morrowinds fighting system was rather simplistic and overall somewhat weak)

And did I hear Leemu say that Xbox Knights comes out before PC?? YEAH-HA!!!!
