Benny
Do you mean you've scratched your cd? If so it depends on how much you've scratched it, cd cleaners can help but for getting scratches out they arent usually that good i'm afraid. You can recover various files from the cd and you might be able to get away with running them from hd with a full install but its fairly unlikely and dependant on how badly scratched the cd is. Remi
A good last resort to fix scratched CDs is to rub some toothpaste into the scratch. Not sure how well that works on data CDs, but allegedly it works on music CDs.
xElaineMarleyx
A good last resort to fix scratched CDs is to rub some toothpaste into the scratch. Just thought I'd tell you that that made me laugh... There's this thing out that's called a Game Doctor. It works for all scratched disks (music, pc, gamecube (with a special adapter), game...) but I've never tried it. To be truthful, I've never needed one either. Good luck! :D:D
Guybrush_Dincht
well....... it is a bit scrached but its not as scrached as my other games and they work fine. does it matter where it is scrached? There's this thing out that's called a Game Doctor. yea i mentioned the disk cleaner i think the game dr is just a make of one, you know, a brand name. xElaineMarleyx
I think it matters more if the scratch is on the inner rings. I'm no technical wiz but I think that's where the computer reads all the info from. Let me know how it goes! .
TheGovernor
The best scratch remover EVER is 'Brasso'. It is a British (I think) metal polisher and takes even the deepest scratches off. I use it all the time!!! It even fixed a really deep scratch in a DVD I had! THE GOVERNOR
