obi
Are you on the internet when you make games? and if you are, make sure that the "players list" on the side says "human" and not some other character.
git_sum_stuka
do you have a firewall or an anti-virus program?
leXX
Maybe your ISP doesn't allow it, I know mine doesn't.
Hekx
If you create a "listen" server, no one will be able to join since the server is not being recognized by the JKII master server (sending out a heartbeat.) If you're creating a dedicated server (option available under create server) that should be listed to everyone. Make sure your computer is big and chunky (1GHz+ 512MB RAM+) and can host games without latency. If you're unable to get people onto your server, if you have told them your IP, it maybe firewall settings blocking their incoming connection. Darklighter
I know I can't host MP games, either due to my incompetent firewall or router network thing. Are you running your net connection through a router, perchance?
lukeskywalker1
i did all that...no firewall...it was only for 2-3 people, i want to play on it as well so....there is no ip..i can play online...but the ip is local host....
Wes Marrakesh
There's always an IP. There's a certain command you can enter in dos prompt window that is something like "IP" or the like and it tells you your current IP if you don't have a static IP (same all the time)
Hekx
I've had problems with my IP address changing, and I'm on a cable modem too. The best way to find out the IP is: Open the JKII console when you've made the server. Type the following: showip. Write down the IP address. Tell your friends it. They then type /connect (Your IP address) to get in. No need to add the :28070 port on the end, since they should connect to the right one JKII uses. Hope this helps.
