Ratmjedi Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 Risk is an awesome board game. Me and my friends play it all the time and we have fun doing it. We're always yelling and stuff. For some of you who may not know what it is about. You have the option of picking the color of the army you are going to have. Then each player get to position his pieces were ever he wants as long as every country is occupied by someone's army. Then once every country is taken you can put more than 1 army in a country so you can decide whether to fortify a certain border and etc. Then a person starts by saying that I am going to attack Afghanistan so the person that has soldiers in Afghanistan has to role dice and so does the person that is attacking. The person that get's the highest number out of the dice wins and the loser has to lose a piece of his from that country. You can then keep doing that untill they are completly out of the country and then you can occupy it. You do that all over the map and the person that is the last one is the person that wins the game. It is very fun and not that predictable. I once took over a friends country that had 3x time the amount of soldiers that I had. It also take a good 2-4 hours to have a nice and decent game with more than 3 people. Me and my friends usually have around 5-6 people playing. My friend also got LOTR Risk so now we can take over Middle Earth I left out a few details but that is pretty much the jist of it. Anyone else care to explain a little more thourough?
