Joshi
CMI, guybrush should have a beard and look something like how Paco draws him on worldofmi.
superdude201
Cartoon version i just didn't like Mi 4 as much as the others they changed it too much
James Isaac
The cartoony version of Guybrush was much better than the others (especially better than in MI4)!
RicardoLuigi...
3d is good only if they did cel shading, that'd be neat. otherwise, the cartoony 2d of cmi, which is what i voted for. but they should change guybrush's shape to the slightly shorter, a lot less skinny than in cmi look that he had in the first two as well as somewhat in emi. EnchiladaMan
He should look more like he did in the first two games, but in 3d cell shading. But there should be more buttons like the first two games had (like L for lookat, P for pickup, U for use, T for talk/taste, S for push, and Y for pull). Cell shading would give the cartoony feel of MI3, but it would bring it to complete 3d which would bring in more audiences.
SamNMax
I want it to be more challanging. Guybrush should be able to die.

thripweed
well, all your replies are very interesting. I personally liked the way guybrush looked in MI1 + 2, as in on the cover, more a real person. It had sort of a goonies feel. I loved the way he was in MI3 though, and feel MI5 should take on this look, but with buttons and can die.
sizuela
I would say I like the CMI grafics best... MI4 did strange characters and changed the voice... I would like MI5 to have the grafics from MI4, the characters from MI3 and the voices from MI3... //siz

PROGAME
i really don't think Guybrush should be able to die i like testing every thing, thats the point in these kind of games, so you can find the funny stuff it will be perfect if mi5 will be just like mi3

Layoric
I agree with peepwood, i loved the covers of the first 2 games that i owned on my old amiga, MI3 i played with much hesitation after seeing the graphics, but was pleasently surprised after playing it! the 3d grapfics i think was an aquired taste, i think MI2 had the best feel to the graphics and would be the best base to design the graphics of the 5th if there is one. Demon Chuckie
why does everyone hate MI4 so much? sure it was the worst of all MI games but that's still a lot better than a lot of other games. I didn't have a problem with the graphics (althogh now they would look a little dated). The worst part was the lame story by far!
Shuteyes
I think they should go back to the catroony feeling MI3 had, so i want to sugest the use of cell shaded grafix like zelda the windwaker as an example. Now i must say i did not play MI 1 and 2, i started playing 3. But if the icons i see in this forum, resembles they way Guybrush looked in MI2 i'd say that thats the best appearance for guybrush. So Cell shaded to keep up the cartoony look with the appearance from MI2.

Let me fill you in. Guybrush looked okish but the graphics were rubish! Also there was no vioces - just sound every now and then. It was all point and click ad there were buttons. I.e. You click over to some stars to clime up it. Then you click push safe handle. Then push safe handle again. Then pull. then push. Do you understand? Also I might sound like a no it all just now, but this proves I'm not. - What's cell shading? And as a few more things: 1. MI 4 was realy hard to play on my computer, it kept crashing. even when i got a 3d card. so plese don't make the next game 3d. 2. If guybrush dies it should be like in cmi. 3. The cmi game grapihcs were the best (so was the game). Sorry if i went on for a bit there.

Shuteyes
Also I might sound like a no it all just now, but this proves I'm not. - What's cell shading? Cell shaded games are build on an engine wich allows a game to look extremely cartoony but still 3Dimentional so no square 3d heads like in EMI, i dont know if its hard to handle but Zelda The Windwaker looks great. here are some screens i could find on the web. http://www.gaminggrave.com/images/screen/zelda7.jpeg http://www.gaminggrave.com/images/screen/zelda9.jpeg http://sega.gamerweb.com/media/sonicshuffle/06.jpg http://www.gamespy.com/e32002/gcn/zelda.jpg http://image.reserve.co.uk/www/public/images/ss02/xv/celdamage-a.gif The last one is a bit small but you'll get the idea by now i presume
