Sam Fisher
I was just wondering what Clancy books are most like Splinter Cell? I have heard that the Bear and the Dragon has something of the storyline as SC. If anyone could give me any pointers, thanks! P.S. Does anyone have a listing of the Clancy books? If so could you please post them? Thanks again.

Sorry, can't help you on the first part...but as for Tom Clancy books, I just did a quick search on Amazon, and it gave me this listing. Knock yourself out. Nute Gunray
The Bear and the Dragon is nothing like Splinter Cell at all. It's more like Force 21. Hell, Force 21's plot IS the Bear and the Dragon's plot.

HertogJan
The bear and the dragon is a great book though I like all of Clancy's book that are about Jack Ryan, John Clark, Ding Chavez etc. They rock!! The opcenter and netforce series are good too, I hate the books that look like a 'war report'. They are sooo boring But I was wondering why it's called "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell"... It indicates there must be a book called Splinter Cell, but IO haven't found it... yet
jokemaster
It's called that because he came up with the idea, the basic story, and what weapons you use etc.
BCanr2d2
It's the same as Sid Meier's Civ 3, it is more of a thing that used to be associated with movies. You mentioned the director's name to get people to notice. It has just taken ages for games to use it.
