Alientookmybeer Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 In the first Jedi Knight, you received an extra force ability or upgrade for finding all of the secrets on a level. Is there any benefits in the sequel? Thanks
Sam Fisher Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Since you rise in force rank by advancing to more levels in JKII, the secret areas have power ups health shield boosters etc...
Kurgan Posted May 25, 2003 Posted May 25, 2003 Obviously you haven't played Jedi Knight or Mysteries of the Sith crow_nest (and really missed out I might add)! In those two games, you gained Force "stars" (instead of points) between levels as you rose in rank, but IN ADDITION, if you found all of the secrets on a given level, you could gain BONUS stars to be allocated to your force. This gave you an extra incentive to look for all the secrets. In Jedi Outcast (and most likely in Jedi Academy as well) finding secrets is just for fun (and whatever items they hide away for you). In JK/MotS you could also max out each Force Power at Level 4 (Jedi Outcast only has 3 levels per power), so getting all the stars you could was even more desirable. You could also pick your powers as you went (something I'd love to see return in JA), rather than just being given generic powers already preset.
TheMadDoofer Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Then you have never found all of the secrets in any of the levels.
