NiKo
and the most annoying thing is, EVERYTIME i restart it now, it starts up like it's new so i can move around files as much as i want, but as soon as i'll restart my computer, everything will be gone again
Al-back from the BigWhoop
im no expert, but i would say it has something to do with your battery. it happened to me once, a friend of my father fixed it and said it had something to do with the battery. I lost everything that was in the drive C, but i had a backup drive (D) and this one was intact.

Burn it to A CD or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7. Until you have all of what you need. , thats your best bet

It happend to me niko the problem, it's where the pc gets shutdown incorrect a few times or you've deleted something by accident. To make it work, you will have to make a new user profile, and use that one from now on.

pHILBRUSH
Have you got Kazaa, or anything of the sort? Coz I've had this problem before, and it was due to people hacking my PC through Kazaa, Then I tried Sharebear; same problem. I'd follow thes simple-ish steps... 1) Press start, then settings, then cotrol panel(if you have XP, just contol panel) 2) go to "Add/remove programs" 3)If you see anyithing which you don't know what the hell it is (or if it has an unusual icon eg. dollar/pound sign) romove it, unless you think that it's something that your PC needs. 4)if you have Kazaa, or anything like it, remove that too. 5)look in the recycle bin, if there's anything that you didn't put there, then RESTORE IT!!!! This should help you out a lil', niko. -pHILBRUSH

Kjølen
considering his computers files were copletely desolated, I don't think that many programs are installed anymore. Hmm, lots of misery in the forums today. Anyways, reinstall Windows. at least some of the stuff is there eh? I guess you could maually recreate them somewhere else. Or else yes = get a mac. Either way will work great.

Branik
There are plenty of games for macs too. Besides, all of the most important filetypes can easily be converted between Windows and Mac.
