Lord Fury
(Second post and first topic I created at these boards WOOWHO! Might be off topic I don't know.) Okay after watching the movie about the environs and watching the E3 footage about 5 times I'm getting a little bit ancy for this game. Yeah sure call me a cry baby, but you might not after hearing what I have to say next. Coming this Tuesday I'll be in the hospital for surgery. I'll stay in the hospital for at least a week getting recovered and what else. Now here's my problem. The XBox version isn't coming out till after I get out of the hospital which means I'll be bored the whole week. Now you see my problem or problems. Thanks for letting me take some of your life away by reading this post!
Jedi Apprentice
You want to know what to do while waiting for KoTOR? Play other games, get on here, watch tv, eat carrots...... Most of us have been waiting for about 1-2 years. (2 years for me) So I think you can handle the last week. Almost everyone is ancy. BTW, good luck with your surgery. Taos
I've been waiting for the game for about a year now.......I think it will be worth the wait. Also, I'm getting the pc version - which means I don't get it til the fall, so I don't have sympathy for you because you have to wait an extra week. Sorry. Jedi Apprentice
@ Leemu-- Bah. You have SWG. Give the guy some sympathy. All he has is surgery. The time has really been flying while I've been waiting for this game. If you don't just count down the days and involve yourself in other things then it will go quicker. Besides, you will need time to recover from surgery.
Dark Dragon
Yeah man, i think getting better from surgery is FARRRRRRR more important than a game, even KOTOR. Dark Dragon
Lord Fury
BAH! I say. It's going to be my second surgery so it won't be as bad. Hopefully seeing as they're taking the metal bar out of my chest and putting in a piece of Gortex I can come home Friday or Saturday. Besides I borrowed Blood Wake and Bruce Lee Quest of the Dragon from my friend plus I'm getting Brute Force from somebody for my surgery. So I guess those will last me a while until this comes out but I only get ancy when I'm on the computer and see so many pictures of KotOR and the environs movie. Feel better man, I know medical stuff is a pain. I'm also waiting for PC, but I'm worse off than Leemu when waiting, as I'm not having an affair with SWG

Taos
Originally posted by Eets SWG? Oh yeah, I once fooled around with her.. She really sucks.. On the contrary, she is much better then I ever thought she would be. Ok let's be honest here, SWG is nothing more then my "girl-of-the-moment." KOTOR is the one that drives me wild. Posted by Apprentice @ Leemu-- Bah. You have SWG. Give the guy some sympathy. All he has is surgery. Hmmm, I guess I'm just tired of the whining...sorry if that sounds harsh. I've had lots of huge issues going on in the last week...bleh. :S
Lord Fury
I understand how you feel Leemu. Over at GameFAQs people keep creating the same topic with the same questions about a game that hasn't even been out yet. Look at the Fable board. My god! And then there's the topics about "When is the release date?" That gets annoying right there. Today will be my last day on the boards for a few days for my surgery. When I get out of ICU I head up to the fourth floor whatever it's called and I relax. I can walk around again and they have this room with computers lining the walls so I can go online again when I get up there. I got this big ass book yesterday called Eye of the World by Robert Jordan. That should last me a while. Well good bye to all of you here for I have to say you people are the nicest people on any board I've been to.
Jedi Apprentice
Good luck with your surgery, Lord Fury. We will look forward to hearing from you after the surgery. Leemu---I was just joking/being sarcastic about SWG.
Hannibal
Originally posted by Jedi Apprentice Good luck with your surgery, Lord Fury. We will look forward to hearing from you after the surgery. The hospital is no fun to visit let alone stay in. So, take it easy. The fact that you'll have games will make it a million times better. But you probably already know that. Good luck. Heal up nicely.
Lord Fury
I'm back from my surgery! We went up Monday stayed the night at a hotel and went to the hospital early morning. We waited at the hospital till 5 in the afternoon till I got to go up to the room I'd be in after surgery. Got all set up. Surgery took an hour and a half. Just got home. Seeing as the surgery wasn't as bad as my first they let me go home the day after my surgery. All good news to me because the metal bar is out and a little piece of gortex is in. Still in some minor pain but that's because it's just the insicion they made in my chest. And thank you to the people that wished me good luck. Jedi Apprentice
Glad to hear that all is well with the surgery, Lord Fury. *wishes someone would move this to the off-topic section so he could ask questions....* Anyways, what are you doing to keep yourself busy? Jedi Apprentice
Thanks Hannibal. Anyways, what was the reason for needing the surgery? Not everyone needs an extra piece of hardware in their chest.
Lord Fury
My chest was sunken in a few years back. I wish I couldn't feel any pain right now because when I woke up I tried getting out of bed and BAM! searing pain where the insicion is. 2 weeks from now I go back to get the stitches out and hopefully some time in those 2 weeks the pain will stop for good. They gave me a prescription for Tylox though. It's a major type of pain pill.
