"The Hulk" Flops!

You haven't seen it yet??? I'm disappointed in you, Mr. _Leon. :p J/K. In my opinion, it definitely recaptures the wonder of the first one. Here's a little hint for increased viewing pleasure: Go see reloaded, and once you get the concepts in the movie straight, watch the first one. There are little key phrases that are said kind of off-handedly, but hint at themes in Reloaded. ;)

Now to my original purpose for posting. Why do you people put so much stock in movie reviews? Reviews are written by one person (not a group), with one point of view (not several), and a single set of preferences and opinions (Quite possibly opposite your own). It's like a rock music fan refusing to buy a rock CD because a symphony-lover said it was bad. WHAT DO THEY KNOW? Spending money to see a movie is a risk: you either will like it or you won't. If you do, great. If you don't, better luck next time.

I'm gonna go see it... and Clefo, I think the Stone Temple Pilots are on the soundtrack.

Stone Temple Pilots rule!:D I have all of they're albums, and I love every one of them.

I have heard some better reviews today, but everyone says the fx are really cheesy, and they all say it is an extremely dark movie, and not for kids.

Either way, you should see it for yourself. Besides, the critics have a grudge with Adam Sandler and Jim Carry with their "toilet humor". I thought Bruce Almighty was awesome along with Mr. Deeds. But down the paper, don't look at the sites with reviews. Review it yourself. Besides, no movie is worse than Kung-Pow: Enter the Fist even though the previews were funny...to an extent...

I did some reasearch, and much to my chagrin its NOT STP, but a band fronted by Scott Weiland with the members of Guns N' Roses minus Axel Rose, I downloaded the song though (Now that I admitted that, RIAA trucks will surround my house) and it's.. not bad

Ok, I just got back from seeing the hulk and well... umm....just read this..

The Hulk

Review:

*WARNING: THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS OF THE MOVIE*

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

First of all, The Hulk is one of those movies where after seeing it you think..... hmmm, I just wasted two and a half hours of my life. Ok, there were some pretty cool scenes, but only about less than thirty minutes worth of 'em. With that out of the way, it's time to begin the rants about it!

RANTS:

1. As you all can tell, the computer animation is very cartoony. 2. He doesn't become the Hulk until about the first hour and fifteen minutes of the movie ends.

3. The first hour of the movie is basically one big explanation, which could easily be summed up in about two paragraphs.

4. Way to predictable, exception the endings which is just silly.

5. The only time he say the famous hulk line: You making me angry. You won't like me when I'm angry." IT'S IN SPANISH!

6. Also, the end calls for a sequel and I ask: WHY?!

7. This is only the beginning of my rants, so I'm going to stop.

I give it a 3.7 out of 10

I recommend waiting for it to come out on video and rent it (Only if you want to see it.). It's just plain torture to watch it.

BTW, I went with five of my friends and only one liked it. The rest of us did have a good time mocking it.

I went to see it last night and I was dissapointed. The beginning was too slow, too many angle shots(splitscreens everywhere), way too predictable, but he does say that line earlier "You making me angry. You won't like me when I'm angry." He says it a second time in spanish too. Transistion between scenes, intresting at first, then repetative after the first 15 minutes.

I been reading reviews all day, and most critics are unanimous, despite some decent acting, The Hulk looks silly, and the story is barely enough to hold the attention of another T.V. Pilot. Consider this Marvel's first flop since The Punisher. Hopefully, this will not hamper future releases like The Punisher.
