The Cheat
ive been trying to use 3d studio max but the program doesnt want to work right now:(
Psyk0Sith
If you want to do this for multi player, why not use a surf file??? Also, you cant magically convert a .ms3d to a .glm and expect to get a fully rigged character. You have to use 3D studio max 4.0 and attach the skeleton and all the other crap. The Cheat
i was trying to load a model.car file in assimilate but it is not opening up. i have altered a root.xsi file to get rid of the belt, sholderpad, and collar but the modle.car file wont open in assimilate so i might not be able to complete this little project. i am not possitive that i have the program configured properly so if there is a tutorial on how to configure it i would really appreciate it
The Cheat
i have gotten it to open without giving me an error and did the carwash and all but now when i try to build it, it says Process Returned Error :
Psyk0Sith
just create a .surf file and that's it, no need to mess around with the XSI. That's what surf files are for. create a "model_default.surf" file with notepad Put this line in there: surfOff "torso_collar hips_belt" save to .surf and that's it. Just check the skin files to identify the mesh to remove.
