DarthDogPoo
Anyone have strategy guide or inside information as to whether or not there are level maxes. Also, are there "hunting grounds" where you can get XP from respawning baddies or is there just one of every spawned bad guy, meaning theoretically there is a limit to the amount of XP you can get. In Baldur's Gate, random encounters ensured that there were always ways to get more XP than the games linear progression allowed. I was just wondering if this is the same. Jedi Apprentice
In a lot of normal RPG's the level max is 20, but I'm not sure for this game. The devs said a long time ago that there will be certain places where enemies will re-spawn over long amounts of time, but won't appear every five minutes. They said it was tested out to where you peaked everytime around the very end of the game. (this is all from devs old statements)
Swat
Here's a response frm a dev: Level cap? Easy. 20. Level 20 is the highest level that can be reached in Knights of the Old Republic. Wether you reach it or not, that is up to you.

Why can't you just keep numbers low so everyone can do the maths? So, 19703 HP... Did I get 283 or 483 at last level up?

Did I get 283 or 483 at last level up? uhm diablo isnt a japanese rpg. and the max hp u can get around is only about 500 or 600. i think it would make the game ~seem~ longer with more levels. but yea with final fantasy its like that. the reason why i winked is cause i was in a way bein sarcastic to myslef. lukeiamyourdad
Hello everyone! As a reply to Japanese RPG's: This happens with the new FF only the old ones had a 999hp limit. I don,t know why they did all of that but they did it. Maybe it is to show how strong they are Diablo 2 does NOT have an hp limit(proof one of my char has 1000something). Lvl 99 is not a problem. You usually get to those levels by replaying the game a hundred times. The norm for finishing most japanese rpgs is about lvl40 which is not excessive.
