1) September 12 for both XBOX and PC version (ESTIMATE)

2) LEC distributes it differently for the same reason most games are released at different times across the world

3) Can't you order from an American store? I feel shipping and handling, if 15 or lower, is well worth it :) I spent 264 dollars on KotOR so far and still am not regretting it. (200 for XBOX, 50 for game, 12 for guide)

erm the last time i checkd mate EA have nothing to do with star wars knights of the old republic for the xbox, so butt out and we do need a uk site because as the canada bloke pointed out PAL and NTSC are wait for it................DIFFERENT and the games usually are, with things like; the differing release dates, distributors that type of stuff . So maybe a seperate site is justified?

Okay dude, listen up:

I am from europe myself, so spare me your "untermenschen"-****.

Also EA is distributing a lot of LucasArts games in several european countrys, so get your facts straight before you insult other people.

And there is still no need for a uk site, and no need for a german, french or whatever site. The game is pal here, but there is ZERO difference in its contents that would justify a seperate site.

Also, three things: Try using helpful little things ".,!?".

Don't insult other members of the board.

Don't do double-posts.

I never gave somebody a temporary ban, and I want to keep it that way.

In fact you have double-posted twice in this very thread. And no, I am not your teacher, but I thought if a guy whose native language is not english [like myself] is able to make readable posts, then a native english-speaker should be as well.

And I don't have a "carte blanq" because I am a mod. I adhere to the rules I enforce myself. For example you won't find a post where I insulted anyone, though I sometimes sure wish to do.

And your answers, well:

The date is different because all pal versions are released on the same day, to prevent imports. And unlike the uk version, other pal ports have to be localized.

The dates that are most likely to be correct are 8/29/2003 [from EA] or 9/19/2003.

September 12 for XBOX and PC? That'd be nice...Sept. 19? Not nice. 5 days after my birthday.

This is almost quite funny, the 9 post UK person brutally attacking everyone who posts in his thread, including the moderator... I wonder what he'll call me?

tyson84, you were given your answer. Hostility won't change the facts. EA is distributing the game outside of the US.

I'm not going to tell you to relax because I don't care if you do.

I assume you never wanted an answer to your question. Since you got one and wouldn't accept it.

So just let it go. It's over.

Huh?

Well I know that EA distributes them in germany and some other countries. Obviously not in all european countries :(

Your other try for a distributor in the uk would be Activision I guess, they have a good relationship with LEC since Jedi Knight II :)

How about you search for the game on some british webshops, they usually list the local distributor.
