BigTeddyPaul Posted July 28, 2003 Posted July 28, 2003 Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing some fantasy football right now. It is free at Yahoo and I could start up a league if people wanted to play. To play all you need is a yahoo id which is free. For those of you who don't know what fantasy games are you draft your team and play your guys against others. In head to head matches you face one opponent. You get points based on the stats your people do. If your QB throws a TD pass than you get 6 points. If your defence only allow 10 points in a gmae you get like 10 points. A note is though that if 10 people put Rich Gannon as their #1 pick it doesn't mean everyone gets him. Whoever was in the draft earliest gets him. EXAMPLE: If there are 10 people in the league and everyone chooses Gannon first overall only the person who drafts first gets him. The draft is serpentine so they pick #1 and #20. #10 also chooses #11. Are there any questions? Does anyone want to play? BigTeddyPaul

I went ahead and made the league since I can go ahead and just delete it later on if no one joins. What you need to do to play Free Fantasy Football: 1. Have a Free Yahoo ID. If you don't have one you can easily get one. 2. Go to this site and the choose the SIGN UP box. 3. There will be three boxes on the next page. Choose the lower right handed one labeled JOIN EXISTING LEAGUE. 4. Next choose JOIN CUSTOM LEAGUE. 5. The next page will ask for the ID # and the Password. They are 214032 and the password is kyle . Then make your team and prepare to play. The draft will be offline. We will do some AIM thing or send an Email to determine picks and stuff. If there are any questions please ask. I will ask if people want to play basketball and hockey later on. If there is no one wanting to play hockey I know of 2 leagues which are a lot of fun so we can join those if no one wants to play in ours. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE JOIN. BigTeddyPaul
