Sith Lord Bile Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 I'm curious as to what we are going to be able to do with our characters when we've gone through the game. Will we be able to continue to play levels over and gain more experience and be able to level up our characters so we can get the levels we need to get all the force powers we want, or is the game over for that particular character when he gets to the end? Hope that made sense...but to put it another way. In Diablo II, you can just keep playing with a character even when you've completed all the quests so you can get more experience and levels. thanks.
Swat Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 The devs stated before that they want to have a cinematic feeling to the game, thus like a movie, it ends and doesn't let you play anymore Anyway, welcome to our boards!
Com Raven Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 Welcome The game ends when you completed it, but you will most likely have reached the level cap by then
boinga1 Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 Correct. 20 is the max (like you really need to go much higher to finish the game). Anyway, not beng able to play after beating it encourages replaying to find out the different ending or such, patience in playing through, and hopefully a better gaming experience.
Com Raven Posted July 30, 2003 Posted July 30, 2003 Yeah, there are after all two endings, plus the hidden one
TheBinx Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 Well I like the idea that its over when its over so you can play it again to get a different ending but I can also see how it would be good to keep going. But if you really think about it, say you beat the game on the light side. What would you do next I mean you already beat the sith. There wouldn't be much left. I just think you would get really board with that very fast. If ya know where I'm coming from.
Zargon Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 perhaps this is something that might be changed for the PC Bersion....
Com Raven Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 I don't think so... Bio never did that in any of their rpg titles (7 so far)
Jedi Apprentice Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 Originally posted by Com Raven Yeah, there are after all two endings, plus the hidden one Hidden ending? Com, maybe you could put the spoiler tags to use or tell us a little more about that. I am....craving the info.....
Com Raven Posted August 1, 2003 Posted August 1, 2003 Just go to the BioWare site and look at the game secrets section
