HaruGlory89
Force push is darn useful in singleplayer for disabling enemies, but what use is it in multiplayer? You only pull the opponent to you where you are vulnerable and will get sliced by the guy you pull.

HaruGlory89
Damn! I typed pushed instead of pull. Here's the real question: HOW TO USE PULL in multiplayer. sorry
BawBag™
Well, I personally find pull more effective for countering grip than push. Pull can also be used for pull kicks! (An awesome move)
Prime
Pull is great for pulling guns from opponants. Then you can use the gun on them... And pushing over ledges is good too
griff38
I assume from your question you have never been pull back-stabbed? Or pull kicked?
HaruGlory89
No never, what's pull-kick? Teach me how to perform it.
Zappa_0
Hahaha you simply pull the person to you then kick them, its simple. Also if you really wanna be mean with push, you can get someone next to a ledge and use pull to pull them out while you jump. But thats kinda taking a risk getting killed yourself, so you might should try it when they least expect it. Push and Pull can be very useful in a game. griff38
Assume for the moment both you & your opponent have PullX3. Pulling another player who has the force level set also to 3 cancel each other out. However if you are stationary and your opponent is moving their force3 protection is downgraded to force level 2 while they are moving. Now your force x3 overpowers their forcex2. Depending on some other factors they will either be pulled toward you or have their feet pulled out from under them. This means they fall and are open to attacks. If you kick during duels or even ffa stuff, hold still, pull someone running at you, they fly toward you and kick them. Good for 18 points damage and usually sets em up for another combo attack. cig
It all really depends on which version your playing, 1.02, 1.03, or 1.04. If you are VERY close to an opponent an have pull/push at lv 3, and the opponent has no push or pull force or is in the middle of moving or swinging their saber an you pull or push they will fall to the ground. If your push or pull is at lv 2 or lower you cannot knock them to the ground. When an opponent is knocked to the ground they take a few seconds to stand making them very vulnerable to attacks. If push is used then the opponent flys too far away to land a saber attack other than a saber throw, if you roll at them after they where pushed to the ground you can usually hit them with some lighting or even grip them before the stand. Pull on the other hand will knock them down at your feet making it extremely easy to land a saber strike. But if you pull at the wrong time while they are swinging their saber, of if they are a bit too far away from you, you will pull them into you making yourself suseptible to an attack from them, possible pulling their saber swing into you. You have to have your push/pull at lv 3 and stand still to defend against push/pull or use absorb. If you ever noticed when someone uses push or pull, the players getting hit with it will automatically attempt to block it if they are standing still. Their hands will come up for about half a second, when that happens for that half second, they cant swing their saber, an they cant use a force, even with absorb on. This leaves them open to kick attacks which has a possibility to knockdown the opponent. So even a resisted push or pull can be useful to you for attacking.
