Alejandro
I was investigaten the sw history and the rpg of wizards of the coast I know that the first mistake in Knights of the old republic is that there was no Sith lord after the Battle whit Exar Kun 4.000 years before sw ep 4 until the broterhood of darkness 2.000 years later like most of the sw Knights of the old republics players are not fan of the sw saga and don,t read the comics they will find thsi game great but I think that this game creators are no sure of the Sw timeline and think that they can invet they own history second they say that the jedi will could use a double_bladed lightsaber and I read more than a hundred times that the lightsaber was and experiment of the jedi and it wasn,t aprovaded by the jedi council because the only reason to make a double_bladed Lightsaber is for kill and the jedi don,t Kill and the bioware are don,t use Star Wras wizard of the coast rules they are invented his rules, but y haven,t sean the game yet, yes it will be sure the game of the month, it must be a very stupid month. Boba Rhett
There is NO actual star wars timeline. There is one pieced togther using EU crap. That doesn't exactly count. Why should they use someone elses made up EU? Bad EU at that? This game is amazing. It deserves far more than a game of the month tite and the story is of a quite high caliber when compared to most of the EU crap. I'm not fan of any EU though. You're... 'witty' jabs at it, "yes it will be sure the game of the month, it must be a very stupid month." are quite pathetic. You're upset that one made of Star Wars story doesn't go along with another made up Star Wars story. And finally, could you please use some punctuation? It's extremely hard to read what you're writing.
Hannibal
Rhett is right about the timeline thing. That timeline was made by a SW fan who pieced together stories from different books and comics. Each of the authors of those books and comics created their own story without any thoughts about a timeline. George Lucas' rules for SW Fiction were that authors could not write about the Clone Wars and that was basicly it. KOTOR unlike most SW Fiction was created with LucasArts(that means story) meaning what you see in the story is accepted by the Lucas Family. boinga1
Oh my GAWSH...you're dissing a game this good because it doesn't go along with some BS in comic books? C'mon, that comic book stuff is mostly junk, Palpatine comes back to life, the Sith are a race with no knowledge of the Force...c'mon. And btw, if you're going to insult a great game and offend people, make sure you know how to type in the language you chose to use so you don't look like a fool. Forgive my harsh comments. I am a very blunt man.
Crowy
i like the eu, and i havent played kotor due to being aussie... if you bothered to read any of the interviews, i beleive one of them said that it was non star wars lineal cause it would have restricted the story line so therefore wouldnt the story be better even if it isnt lineal!! so please please quit your biz-nitching about perhaps the best game coming to xbox for a long while!!! there my two cents anyways!!! Actually they said it wasn't set in the Ep II timeline because it would have restricted the story.
Guest Jed
Okay, I'll be bluntly honest. It's my opinion that this thread wasn't created for nice, calm discussion. I'm glad that the community has made it that, though. Now, if you had actually read about the game, you'd know what Hannibal said: Originally posted by Hannibal KOTOR unlike most SW Fiction was created with LucasArts(that means story) meaning what you see in the story is accepted by the Lucas Family. Please, if you'd like to do this in the future, back your statements up.
