Altus_Thrawn
Some of you may have noticed I haven't been on much lately (I don't mean during my trip). There is a one-word answer: Tirev. Tirev is a Teras-kasi in training on Intrepid server. Tokalar still gets most of my swg time, but tirev gets some also. And school cuts in too much....so that is why you won't see me on as much. Another reason: after reaching novice weaponsmith I felt like God. But now I feel helpless-I need 35 thousand wcxp to get melee 1. That's alot of xp. That's alot of deliver missions for harvesters. And that's alot of time spent grinding. Its very overwhelming. But I intend to stick with it. I've also changed my outlook on swg a bit. I am less dedicated to grinding now-it takes a real person a lifetime to be a master weaponsmith, why should I be able to do it in 3 months because of constant grinding? Also I want to interact with people more-I pay $13 a month for the "Massivly Multiplayer Online" part of MMORPG, so I may as well enjoy it. If I didn't want the MMO part I could go play KotOR. So that's the story.....hehe
Iwok
You dont have to be a weaponsmith. That is why this game is so cool. You can start something, find out u dont like it, surrender it and start sumthin else. You dont have to start a whole new char just cuz u dont like how u started on ur first char. Jan Gaarni
Neither do I, Altus. I've wasted about 80,000 Cr just in 2 weeks, and I've gained almost nothing back from what I've made, money-wise, trying to reach weaponsmith. So far I'm halfway there. But I've started to get more control on my expenses and income as I get the hang of this, and I figure I can make around 40,000 every 24 hours, IF I'm able to sell my things. Out of that, 3240 Cr will go to cover the expenses every 24 hour. Plus pay to my house.
Xx_Patman_xX
Chef has to be one of the top grinding professions. ut I must say, go into a cantina or go buy a nice camp set, and settle down somewhere nice to grind. Maybe corzip should lead weekly "grinding" sessions. I know when you got three crafting tools going you dont have much time to chat, but at least your with other peple. Altus_Thrawn
Its not the crafting part I mind....its the countless hikes to harvesters and deliver missions that bug me. We're merchants and crafters-we're supposed to be RICH!
