Battle Bots Tournament (round I)

okay, just like on TV, it's Battle Bots time.

when the buzzer sounds, it's heavy metal!

 

this is round one of the Battle Bots Tournament.

each week for the next 10 weeks,

10 robots will fight to the junk yard;

until one robot remains

as the undisputted Battle Bots Champion.

 

(the idea is)

there are 10 robo's in this poll

vote for the one you think should lose in this round one.

[that robot will be eliminated from the poll,

and next week round two will consist of the 9 remaining.]

the poll will be open 7 days from monday to sunday EST.

 

*also to make it interesting,

just don't vote and say "i voted..."

instead provide a color commentary

of how you saw the battle transpire.*

 

okay the buzzer sounded and...

 

GIR zooms over to Bender and says: "I Like YOU!"

then places a fridge magnet on his chest. Bender

being affected by the magnet, starts singing "Daisy"

and places GIR inside his chest plate compartment,

thus keeping GIR safe from harm.

 

the Dalek heads towards Marvin screaching:

"EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!"

Marvin responds to the Dalek and says:

"I want you to know, I'm feeling very depressed."

not quite sure how to respond to such a comment

and noticing that he and Marvin are made from the

same UK special FX budget, the Dalek goes off

to exterminate something else.

 

Johnny 5 rolls over towards Rosie the Robot

and Rosie mistakes Johnny 5 for Noo Noo

from the Teletubbies and starts trying to

vaccum the Battle Bots arena floor with him

 

C3PO shuffles over to the Cylon,

mesmorized by his hypnotic red eye

and says "hello, my name is C3PO,

human Cyborg relations."

the Cylon says: "Echuta!"

before knocking C3PO over.

C3PO falls into several pieces,

but is still functional.

 

Twiki 'bee dee bee dee bee dee's' over to C3PO,

picks up the pieces and mistakes R2D2 for a garbage can.

R2D2 opens up a can of "whoop ass!" on Twiki

beeping: "oh no! not another prissy golden droid."

the Dalek mistaking R2D2 for a young Dalek,

heads towards Twiki screaming:

"Robosexual! Exterminate! Exterminate!"

GIR opens Bender's chest plate

and hands Bender an empty Scotch bottle,

Bender chucks it at Twiki's head.

the Cylon mistaking Twiki for C3PO

heads over to inflict some more damage.

R2D2, the Dalek and the Cylon using bits of C3PO

destroy Twiki, eliminating him from the tournament.

 

the buzzer sounds, round one is finished.

all the Droids leave the Battle Bots arena,

except for Rosie

who is still trying to use Johnny 5

like a vaccum cleaner.

[Acrylic]

I think Rosie. All she can do is cook and clean...let alone kill.

[Kain]

GIR begins runnning circles around C3PO, screaming 'I'M RUNNING I'M RUNNING!! YAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOO!!'

C3PO can barely comprehend whats happening. "R2D2 HELP YOU USELESS PIECE OF SCRAP METAL!!'

R2D2 decides to electro shock 3PO to shut him up.

GIR accidenly rams into 3PO knocking him on his golden bum

GIR proceeds to bombard C3PO with lil rubber piggies

[BongoBob]

Every one stands back, cowering in fear of Rosie the robots deadly vacuum. GIR throws a rubber piggy at her and she short circuits.

Oh my, for me it would have to be a tie between Rosie, and Johnny 5.
