txa1265
I've been poking around more recently, and while can make sense of most posts, some are very murky ... I can't tell what game or game mode they are talking about ... how, then, can I answer a question?!?! It will only get worse next month when Jedi Academy comes out. My suggestion- codes at the beginning of your thread name, i.e.: [DF] - refers to Dark Forces [JK SP] - Jedi Knight Single Player [JK MP] - Jedi Knight Multi-Player [MotS SP] - Mysteries of the Sith Single Player [MotS MP] - Mysteries of the Sith Multi-Player [JO SP] - Jedi Outcast Single Player [JO MP] - Jedi Outcast Multi-Player [JA SP] - Jedi Academy Single Player [JA MP] - Jedi Academy Multi-Player Something like this will make life much easier for the answerer ... and since you are asking for help, isn't it worth a second or two to make sure your get across what you're trying to ask? Sam Fisher
A good thought, but it might not catch with the newbies.

|GG|Carl
But you post the threads in the different forums! If you post in the Jedi Academy forum, it's no idea to write [JA] in the start of the thread. Cause everybody will understand that it has to do with JA, since it is in the JA forums! Same thing for... everything:D But you maybe could put [MP] or [sP] in the front of the threads. Maybe.

Problem is, we DO have a help center, and a Strategy Shack. So differentiating 'help me find the key on level 10' ... might take some work as we will now have 5 level 10's!!! As for posting to the separate forums, sure, but for JKII the Valley quickly turned into a MP zone, and wasn't much fun to be around for me, honestly. Why a 'Maybe' for the tags for MP vs SP? Again - Help me with DFA? or whatever ... just helps people get some context around questions. Look - I look at it this way: you come to me with questions, it is your responsibility to come prepared. Ok, sorry, I think I missunderstood, I thought you meant all the threads in the whole LF, not just in the help center. It's a quite good idea, I also have a suggestion for it: Maybe, if you had to put a tick in an appropriate box before posting a new thread, then no one would forget/miss it. If it looked like this: [ ] DF [ ] JK SP [ ] JK MP [ ] MotS SP [ ] MotS MP [ ] JO SP [ ] JO MP [ ] JA SP [ ] JA MP And if I did like this: [ ] DF [ ] JK SP [ ] JK MP [ ] MotS SP [ ] MotS MP [x] JO SP [ ] JO MP [ ] JA SP [ ] JA MP the threads name would look like this: [JO SP]<whateverIcalledmythread> Maybe that's exactly what you ment, And if it was, it's an excellent idea! That makes sense - for ALL of LF would be a major hassle ... That is BETTER than what I thought ... I assumed a manual implementation - I think a tick box would have to be something through the forum database. But I'd love it ...
