  1. I have a kixx copy of zak, I'll scan it in a couple of hours. I've got a few other things I've been meaning to scan too.
  2. Seeing those Alone in the Dark images really takes me back! I love the Purcell TMI cover art, too
  3. Yes, I had to get that Purcell print, too. It's still rolled up at the moment but one day...
  4. Well spotted! I wonder if it was JUST MI2, or if it was actually a random game published by US Gold? That might explain why they were so vague in describing it. It would make finding the MI2 poster even harder! But it also might mean they did a MI1 and Loom poster too... just wishful thinking I'm sure! Edit: this issue is on the internet archive.
  5. I checked the covers of all the 1991-1992 issues and couldn't see any reference to it at all. It's genuinely mysterious!
  6. As I said on twitter, this issue has an indiana Jones poster, so we could check that one out possibly. I also assume it was double sided, but just a guess.
  7. Now begins the hilarious escapades of us acquiring various copies of this magazine only to find the poster has been removed 😊
  8. I'm a huge fan of your work so this sounds great 😁 I'll stick a photo of the rest of my collection up in this thread at some point, so if there's anything you'd like me to scan just let me know when the time comes. Same for anyone else who has any projects in mind.
  9. I know you already had a bunch of mine, but I'm happy to scan anything you might be interested in (as long as I have it! I don't have many foreign releases).
  10. I think I took the image from the back of the box and tried to paint out the parts that were covered up (there's a monkey and a sword over the lower part) so it would look as close to the original image file as I could get it. But I'm no @Laserschwert so it doesn't look particularly good!
  11. Here's a really, really badly made attempt at reconstructing spiffy I did a few years ago.
  12. I think the person looks a BIT like Ken Branagh. But Ken Branagh also looks a BIT like Alec Guinness. A "secret project" would be called so precisely because it doesn't have a name, surely? After it has a name you can refer to it by name... If Tim Schafer had made secret library games, why WOULD he mention this?
  13. Why does it need to be secret at all?
  14. If this conspiracy extends to anyone who's worked with LucasArts alumni then there's no way that it wouldn't have come out by now.
  15. Ooh I like the silver foil on the box, too
  16. Fate of Atlantis got a poster too.
  17. Yeah, I haven't seen it on ebay or anything for a few years now. I would be amazed if anyone was willing to pay anywhere near to $1k for it! If anyone wants to buy it for that kind of money feel free to PM me lol
  18. Clearer version of the reverse side of the CD sleeve
  19. The inside cover and CD (apologies for the weird angle but the CD itself is very reflective!)
  20. Sorry for the delay (if anyone was waiting) - I've got a few photos here of an item I don't tend to see very often anymore: the Full Throttle mini soundtrack. I don't know the full history of this item - whether it was a company store exclusive or if it was on general sale, how many units exist or anything like that. It's not a real soundtrack to the game, it just has the tracks that were licensed from the Gone Jackals - and for any fan of the band, you'd be better off buying their actual album, Bone to Pick, because the mini soundtrack only has three songs. Nevertheless, this is a pretty cool item I'm proud to have in my modest collection and I hope you find it interesting. Please note I took the CD sleeve out to take the first picture, just to reduce the glare from the CD case. I'm also having trouble posting multiple images from mobile so may have to make multiple posts below, in which case I apologise for spamming.
  21. I have a pretty good collection. It's mainly comprised of actual relics from my childhood, a stack of big boxes I acquired on ebay circa 2001, when you could still get a full original boxed copy of Loom, with audio drama, for $14 (yes, really), and some other additions over the years from kickstarters and just the rare occasional bargain. I've attached a photo of the cabinet but I'll get some up close images of some of the rarer / lesser-seen artifacts later this evening.
  22. I find this fascinating, but there's no hard evidence here. Having worked on a real video game at a real video game company (one that even collaborated with LucasArts) I can assure you that stupid, weird decisions happen constantly, and despite how interesting things get, you do forget a shitload of information. So I'll stay in the skeptic camp for now and I'll hope you can convince me I was wrong 😉
  23. I got the SPUTM executable to run regular MI2, but this accomplished almost nothing so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
