Don't feel too bad about being "broke" in the sense that I've heard mim and others constantly claim to be "broke" at some point or other in game. I even have a few toons that have been/are efectively "broke". Just keep killing stuff and putting crew skill crap on GTN. I've even sized up stuff like you're describing (even when I've had 7-8 figures) and opted not to make things (or much more than 1x) if the profit margin sucks. Hell, Isotope 5 has practically collapsed in last few months. Great for implant and various other items if you craft, but to a range of ~90-130k as of last night from as much as 250k this summer. Consequently, I've felt less desire to play missions just for the basic comms (Iso-5 = 35 basics).

Damn....thought I was typing for the "view conv" option..... I'd have to look at my Guardian again, but synthweaving is prob <100 as I focused most of my efforts on things like armors, mods, earpieces, augments and aug kits. You actually can have 3 gathering skills at same time, you're not required to pick a crafting option (have several toons set up like that), but wouldn't necessarily reccomend it if you don't want to be completely at mercy of GTN. Still, crafters kind of get shafted and most people I've heard seem to agree that cyber and bio are best for making any $$.

Yeah, I've got all six crafts on Harb, but only really cyber, armor and biochem have gotten much of a workout. No synthweaving, mostly been collecting mats there. Made a few guns w/armstech and low leveled artifice into 100+ lvl iirc (crystals, hilts, that kind of thing).

Btw, I've sent you and Lynk some items from my comm runs on OM....none of my Harb toons can use them and you guys have new lowbies there.

Been leveling my merc w/someone this past week from 42-51. How's the card working out? Big improvement? I prob should get a card, but game runs pretty well w/o one.

Well, got about 54k points shy of 55. not bad, considering I was slightly past 54 when I started.

I'll find out in about 2 hours or so where my GS is currently. 1 pt shy of 51 if points weren't escrowed. If they were? No clue. . Yes, after a while it all begins to feel like a grind. Don't get as much milage out of 2x points weekends b/c of RL and a bad decision to help someone else. Oh, well.....**** happens. Wookie drumming.....victrola style (or matterhorn style)......

Got my merc up to about 34.5 this weekend. Getting there, but oh, so slowly.
