Don't know if this is how you meant, but found that if I input people's names in the friends section, I can see if you're playing while I'm online. Already put your 4 from the WC thread (Bremiaha, Leny'a, Mant'a, Mar'ina) in and may add some of the others' toons as well.

I noticed that about Tython (mostly being Jedi stuff). Might try it with my trooper when he leaves Ord Mantell anyway. Exp is exp, especially when gimped by F2P. I got that bonus mission stuff on Taris before I realized what it was exactly. New missions would populate my list that I didn't recall agreeing to. Started dumping grayed out missions from the list b/c it was getting too long. Still, have my wookie now and just have to figure how/when I can switch him out w/Corso. Probably look into that after finishing this.

Just left Nar Shaada w/gunslinger and realized that I'd skipped Tython. So, checked it out and saw first hand how ridiculously easy killing enemies 10+ lvls beneath you actually is.

Good to know. I'll try to figure out how to set that up then. Plans for today got deep-sixed by family matters. PC also had a freezing up issue (should be remedied in next few days...replacing board, chip and memory). Working on Harbinger toons. Smuggler first and then maybe the merc (both on NS). Thanks.

Sorry I missed your chat heads up. Must have had it off or I was in the thick of it (and those mssg move pretty quickly). Told mim I'd be on off and on till 9 PM today in case you're on as well. Both toons currently on Nar Shadaa ~lvl 21.

Well, sometimes I don't see chat till too late b/c I'm in the thick of fighting something or have it off. I'm going to be on again on and off till about 9PM today. Will try to pay closer attention to nongeneral chat just in case. Agent has been pretty fun so far (my bounty hunter/merc died more often at the lower levels). Koliyo really jumps into it and buys me time to line up shots. I thought it was same VO as Jack and Juhani at first. The DPS was kind of a concern, but I wanted to try stealth mode. Will keep that tip in mind, though.

I was robbed!! Did a group mission and got no credit. It was Saving Face (not my mission, initially, but somehow it figures.......I really hate that one now). This was, btw, for a different toon (female agent).

Ginned up a Imp agent (operative now) to go w/trooper server. Was gonna ask which was better....sniper vs operative....but decided to opt for stealth. If you have an opinion on it, though, feel free. It's a she....and man she runs like a girly-girl.

No black'n white. Basically as I go. Spared some, killed others. Even had him hitting on Darth Lachris (or taking all flirt options in general). Usually try to opt for smartass over bloodthirsty. Also use esc button to view conversation options (often to find companion influence). I'm guessing you've been playing this a bit. If so, have you found the whole cartel coins thing to be worth it, at least w/in the context of exploring the story lines rather than things like ops and whatnot?

Just wrapped up most of missions on Balmorra, minus heroics. When the major takes you to see the Admiral...priceless in a way. Didn't really suspect Murghia, though.

Actually, mim encouraged me to look at it and has helped me out a bit. Just curious as to what you thought of it. First mmo I've played. Part fun and frustrating, but the learning curve from the first toon has helped a bit w/the others (have 4 going simultaneously atm).

You try SWTOR? DLed it for F2P about 2 weeks ago. If nothing else.....it proved my PC needed serious upgrading. May try a short term sub. Just wondering if you had any thought on game.

Finally caved and DLed SWTOR (F2P atm). Been messing around with it for <2 weeks, but long enough to know my PC needs serious upgrading. Already in process of replacing my dual core off-shelf board w/a quad core. Upgrading RAM to 4 also. Later upgrades as situation permits.

Starting to think that random group joining for the birds. Either no one wants to join, they're in a group but acting independently, or they ignore you when you tell them where you are. Was near Hadra's camp and several people seemed to want that mission, but few replied.....even though I said I was just south of the camp. The one that did accept either had his missions confused or was doing Hadra last. Got tired of waiting and left for space port. Next stop Balmorra.

Ok. Sort of in line w/what mim said about doing Taris first for my smuggler/gunslinger. Thanks. Btw, just finished Saving Face and had to do it mostly alone.....but completed it. However, at level 19 I only got 5 XP points. It looks like the value of XP also decreases as you get higher. Went back to Temple and only got ~70% or so of when I first went. Still.....target rich environment.

Do you recall which was easier: Nar Shaada or Balmorra?

Seems that F2P can have up to 12 toons, but only 2 on any one server. Didn't know that. There are at least 3 US PvE servers and maybe a few others that use English. Started up a trooper (only died 2x so far and then only after getting past the fort), but had hoped maybe they'd start on a different planet or something. Guess I'll create another sith/imp before returning to first two. The population on the one I'm one was about 25% of Harbinger. Almost like playing it it SP. Will be interesting to see how that works out. Also, that find who's online function is restricted from F2P, so I won't be able to do that.

Not sure, but I think that's the one I picked (first PvE choice of the 8 server selections, iirc).

Finally DL'ing TOR, but at <3/4mb per sec......gonna take awhile. Guess I'll finally see what the fuss is about.

Sounds practical. The ME franchise was a flawed masterpiece of sorts, with its best feature being relationships and its weakest being plot issues and some missed opportunities (in both categories even).
