  1. :argh: grr, 4 KB too big :fist: I'll re-do it for you soon. Do you want the time to be lengthened for when your name is visible?
  2. Looks like I jumped the gun :fist:. I have a lot of textures that I updated in my Override, but didn't copy to the correct directory before I sent them to you :argh:. I'm making up a list, and I'll 7zip the new ones over as soon as I figure them all out.
  3. maybe if I didn't have to worry about working for a living. Bills, car payments, nor food won't pay for themselves, no matter how hard I ask them too :xp:
  4. [sarcasm]I have NO idea what you're talking about :xp:[/sarcasm]

I'd have to look at the files, but I'd guess that it is a matter of adding text to the dialog.tlk file, and changing the feats.2da line for that particular feat, so that it looks at the new dialog.tlk entry instead of the existing entry. TSLPatcher has instructions for that.

It's not a perfect replica, but it does the job :). I changed the model a touch, so it's for TSL only.

  6. QUOTE - hey there. i havent been on lucasfiles in a while and was going through some threads on KOTOR and wanted to give you kudos on your avatar pic. it reminds me of one of my favorite marvel comics characters, darkhawk /QUOTE

yeah, DH was a big inspiration for making that Mando armour. When Darkhawk #1 came out, it was my first step back into collecting comics, so he has a special place in my long boxes :D. I haven't collected Marvel in a while, but I did check out the War of Kings just because DH was in it (with great covers too).

  7. The game reads it from the GBL_MAIN_SITH_LORD global number variable and updates the swkotor2.ini file accordingly.

    I saw that in http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?p=2371400&highlight=CurSithLord#post2371400

  8. Ah, it was in my junk mail. I took a quick look. Overall, it looks classy, with the black and silver/grey fades. The orangey/gold text fits well with the logo colours.

maybe the images with the dark background and fog can be altered so they don't have hard edges. I could easily Photoshop them so that they fade to black at the edges.

BTW you can use my real name on the team page.

  9. alright, I'll take care of it tonight (I'm at work right now). I'll send a mix of colours, since I've got the whole rainbow, plus the A, B, C's and Echani & Rattataki too.

If you're gonna pose a group, you gotta do them Rockettes style can-can kick line :xp:

  10. As for weird weather, we've actually turned quite mild lately, and the snow has be melting. Alberta could still easily get a late blizzard in the next couple of months, so I won't declare spring yet. I've been really enjoying the winter Olympics these past two weeks. The big prize is tomorrow, as the hockey gold is up for grabs. I know that team USA really wants revenge, and to steal away the home ice glory (like Canada did in 2002). Hockey is my favourite sport, so it should be a great game either way.

    Go Canada Go!!

  11. busy with yardwork. Over the last couple of weekends we've been ripping out the old lawn, and digging out ALL the dandelions by the roots. I don't want to use chemicals, so it means a ton of manual labour. This weekend, we put in some edge barrier, leveled the dirt, and finally seeded. I'll have to keep an eye on the yard this week, to make sure the seeds germinate, but it should be smooth sailing from here.

    How've you been?

  12. busy, but the good kind of busy. My wife and I have been visiting lots of family the last couple of weeks.

I haven't had much time for modding though...

  13. Can't wait to see his final outfit :D

so, where are we gonna release it? Are you able to log into File Front yet? I noticed that the PotD is over a week old. That'd be a real downer if you guys can't back in there :(

  14. classes are ok. I'm still kinda slow when it comes to modelling from scratch. We're just starting on uv unwrapping, and its going ok. In my other class, we finished with Photoshop, and are just starting Illustrator. Finally, I'll be learning something completely new :D.

So how're things with you? I started to listen to the audio answers, but haven't listened to them all yet.

  15. did you get the e-mail I sent you yesterday?

Oh hey, look at that. Happy Birthday j7.

  16. Finished? I still haven't picked up all my party members yet :( I guess I just don't have enough hours in the day. My friend here at work has finished it twice, and started a third campaign. If only I had that kind of time

Modding on lunch hours, and I've put together about 19 female head skins (LS only so far). At least it's something, hey? But, if things at work keep slowing down, I'll have lots more time to mod (good or bad?). Most likely, everyone will be scaled back to 4 work days a week, which isn't so bad.

How 'bout you? Work's still going ok?

  17. for the robes, you just have to make the new tga file name with a unique number. Then make a unique uti file that matches, and in that uti, input the new tga number in Texture Variation. Canderis has decent screenshots in his tutorial: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=202892.

    Also, T7nowhere has a detailed tutorial: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=143176

So, you've found a way to change the CurSithLord value? That's great. I still haven't tried to replace Nihilus or Sion in the mainmenu##.mdl yet, so I still don't know if we can add the Sith Mech.

  18. good grief! 2048 x 2048 tgas for lightsaber hilts? They're absolutely gorgeous, but who's going to see that kind of detail in game? That's bigger than the body and head textures we made for Juhani herself. Maybe we could reduce the size a bit, so that the download size isn't astronomical? I'm thinking 512x512 or max 1024x1024.

By the way, what are the "minor deformations" that you mention? Is it in the mesh itself, or just the uvw mapping? About the only thing I can see, is a black edge along the 'spiral helix' of Cer'xos Fang (is that intentional?). I'll see what happens if I tinker with them (I'm betting on not much, since you're better at max than I am).

The designs are so delicate and beautiful. I don't know how safe they'd be to use, what with fingers getting caught in the spirals, but that's why this is sci-fantasy.

  19. good stuff. You might want to take care calibrating it. I always have a bit of difference between my in-game brightness & colours, and my out-of-game modding files.

At least you'll have plenty of screen space with 23" :D

  20. Good to hear you got the new files. Yeah, Kaila's portrait now has the neck tat showing (it's small but it's there).

I don't log onto FB too often, but I can try to log in at noon Mountain time every weekday. Would that be 2pm your time? Would that cut into your day job? If that doesn't work out, how about 8pm Mountain time (10 Eastern)?

  21. good to see you're looking on the bright side of a volotile job market.

Real time voice brainstorming... can't wait :D

Yeah ME2 has some great story moments. Some people are dissapointed with the shorter main story, but I'm enjoying the character missions just as much (if not more so). The best parts are all the little snippets of conversation between NPCs. I'd  but I'd be too worried about waking my wife when I play at 1am .

  22. good. Work is a little slow lately, but modding fills the void :)

    And you?

  23. great! I'll do some testing too, just in case I spot something I missed.

I was hoping my newest post in the RoR thread would get people excited. There have been lots of views since the post, but nobody has commented. Oh well. Maybe it'll take longer to get to 1000 posts than I thought

  24. Heh, well I didn't even get to take art in high school.

It's been good to meet you Spartan, but I've gotta get going. I'm gonna watch the Hour on CBC, then go to bed. I've got to be up for work tomorrow. The real world beckons...

  25. here is an in-game shot. The green arrows point out where I fixed the outside spirals, and one of the circular faces. The red arrows show unfixed parts for comparison. The extreme closeup is because I used T3 with his first person view set to default (instead of his blue scan lines).

I think that if you make uvw edits, then weld verticies before exporting from max, it will scramble the uvw map.
