  1. I agree. You posted in the thread (don't remember its name right now) about the bank's receiving loans (and quoted my post, too :p).

It's just plain scary to me. I'm not sure if I'm more worried about the lack of response by Congress and President Bush or the slippery slope that we're traveling down.

...or is it the fact that no one gives a crap that we're trillions of dollars in debt?

  2. I already read it. Does that mean you want a rematch? :xp:

How was the chess club, praytell? No drunken ramblings, correct?

  3. I am glad, Sir InSidious, that your life goeth well! As for myself, school has been dumping loads of homework on me, and this week is the first time they've let up.

As for your signature, I suppose that you have more important things to place there. Choose wisely, Horus Mighty Bull! ;)

  4. I bee (haha pun) doing no hitting! I was/am merely inquiring as to how Bee's day was. o_Q

    On an unrelated note,

    Spam.jpg

    Iz tasty, Bee!

  5. I believe that said strategy only works if you wish to achieve a non-passing grade. :xp: However, a far more effective means is to claim a religious holiday (just make sure you never tell anybody your religion, or this plan fails), and say that you could not do it.

Good old 1st Amendment (for the US, that is). Or perhaps you could state that your great-grandfather just died of syphilis? That's a one-two punch. Be sure to tell your health teacher that, in case you didn't do said work.

  6. I do apologize, Good Sir. the stoffe, in her glory, has rectified my wisdom, and has informed me that you were a member of SWK Staff for many a month!

    At any rate, O hai.

  7. I don't have a choice, now do I? Read my Bee-messages: I've got a slew of project/works this week, so I'll get it sometime soon. Then, finally, I will be able to demand,

    "Skype NAO!"

  8. I find it.. well, rather, I *don't* know how to find it that I recognized those lyrics without having to resort to Google.

    >.>

    <.<

I shall most definitely check out the book, if it's what you say it is. Time must elapse first, however- just did one internal assessment today, and another one next week. Then two weeks of freedom. And the glorious benefits that can bring.

    So close, sire, so close!

  9. I hope Texas creams your neighbors to the north! Drinking beer and eating corn dogs at a fair? And you think that you'll be depressed? :xp:

I'm doing well, thanks. Wishing I had another three-day-weekend. :p

  10. I iz sorry, Bee. :( Bad bosses are not fun. AND I IZ NOT TURNCOAT! I was merely offered a position in Darathy's Cabinet! BEE JOIN US FORGET THE PROLES THEY DONT REALLY CARE o_Q

    O hai

  11. I might say that's a bit... /davidcarusojoke here

    YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH! *ahem*

  12. I particularly enjoy sieges which involve citizenry attempting to blitz my army of one thousand plus men. <_<

From what I've heard of previous Total War games, you were able to see the full lineage of a certain Royal Family, and the inclusion of markers where one had a Heroic Victory.

Speaking of which, have you played the game with the most recent patch? It seems that every victory I have wherein I lose under 20% of my forces, I get a 'Heroic' Victory.

  13. I shall attempt tomorrow- I've got an Internal Assessment due (potentially- multiple dates, with the first being on Friday of next week) next Friday, but that should be my only long-term obligation for a week or so (there's another IA to finish, but the teacher's just handing 'em back for us to make corrections).

Forward, Sire! Unto greatness and glory and homework!

  14. I shall never join the ranks of DSMALL!

Enjoy your book, then! I've heard about said novel, but have never actually read it. Don't forget to report in! :p

  15. I shall work on my auntie-attitude. :xp:

I haven't really, but it's the wireless modem; my dad contacted the customer support, but it's just a personal router thing (i.e., a physical connection would be preferable to the wireless that it currently is). Must fix this posthaste (some sites work, others don't. It's... frustrating, especially when research is needing to be done).

  16. I shall, but doing makeup work for English currently. D: It was a multiple day conference, and I was on the Political and Security Committee... as the Netherlands. :p Nonetheless, major topics included Israel and Palestine (I've never seen so much animosity towards each other [even though it wasn't real, per se]) which was almost tabled more times than I can count, Drug Trafficking (it was one of the two resolutions we passed in seven hours) and Illegal Immigration.

It was painful (in the beginning, at any rate), to say the least.

  17. I tend to disagree with you, Bee: in America, people are lazy, simply put. We don't really care who runs our government (note that the word "we" is used in lieu of "the majority of Americans"), and so anyone that has enough money to run a television add and who hasn't committed any major crimes can get elected.

So, if someone in this country actually wanted to run for office because they were sick of the current situation, I'd have to disagree with you. Besides that, you're right: those that seek power are generally the ones who shouldn't have it.

The first thing that I wrote was in first person, too. It allows you to get into the person's head, but at the expense of getting into the others' heads.

Ah, curse my terrible Mandarin! D: If only I could remember what "ming bai" meant. I know what they mean individually (moon and white, respectively, if I'm right), but I don't remember what they mean together. :(

  18. I thank you! What with your previous title and all...

    You have my sympathy. :(

  19. I thought you should know:

I was almost giddy with excitement when I typed "facade" into Microsoft Powerpoint and it automatically corrected it to "façade."

    That is all.

  20. I will! He is a disgrace to the word "American." This type of close-mindedness is, to me, despicable.

    Joining momentarily... :p

  21. I would if I could, but, alas, I cannot! Instead, we must change standard time.

TO GREENWICH WE MUST RIDE, SABRE!

  22. I'd say that the average American high school isn't that great- to get a good paying job nowadays, one needs, at the least, a college degree. Graduate school will only help in getting further in life. As for the quality of my high schools, it's are good, but not great.

No, I really don't have time. I was originally going to make one about the Republic invasion of Dxun, but I just ran out of time. However, I believe that I'm going to pots a NSW Fic that I imagined at camp (where I was learning Chinese. During my 'bored times,' I decided to write down a ten-page timeline o_Q). It revolves around the collapsing economic situation in America (and much of the world, for that matter), how some countries (countries is the wrong word: individual nations have entered unions in order to compete in the global market, i.e., the European Union, the North American Union, etc.) attempt to solve their problems, and the eventual war that comes as a result. Hopefully, I'll do a decent job writing. *shrugs*

I don't have any real links (that I'd provide, anyway). My earlier writing wasn't that great, but I've got a feeling that if I put quality over quantity, take my time to explain my thoughts (or the character's thoughts, in this matter) I should be alright.

Oh, BumbleBee! I got my story up (not the Cantina one, however)! Voila. I hope you like it! *sighs nervously from worry that I missed some essential detail*

  23. I'm definitely not skipping school...

    >_>

    <_<

No, seriously, it's Veterans Day: the day in which we honor the fallen on the whims of the Ruling Class! National holiday, I believe.

  24. I'm doing alright, thanks, Commander- and yourself? I haven't read much lately, but I just churned out a new thread in the CEC. Check it out, if you've got a chance!

And what are you up to this summer? It's past the halfway point, and I'm nearing the point of tears 'cause of it. :xp:

  25. I'm kind of indifferent about Caesar: at first, he was the champion of the people (assuming that I've recalled correctly), conquering Egypt, Gaul, and, I believe, land in Turkey. However, towards his later time, he raised taxes (to this day, no one likes higher taxes :p). Eventually, a few Senators thought he had too much power. The rest is history. *shrugs*

BEE YOU WUB KIDS DONT DENY IT IT WILL ONLY BE YOUR DOOM IF YOU DO KIDS ARE KIND OF CUTE BUT THEN THEY EAT THEIR BOOGERS. :\

Puppy pics! If I find some, I'll try and get you some pictures of my Beast (family nickname for our German Shepard).
