  1. wel now i hav made 8 trandoskins and 4 cloneskins stil more to go tho.

  2. dunno hockey mate ther must be. how was it u changed the name for campaign set in your mod ?? cos id like to do that as well..btw im gonna put all your skins installer in 1 download as a clikinstaller again lol to save space on filefront .and ill also do a mplan set of 5 diff skin mods of yours in 1.

  3. ive worked out the trandoskin allocations for mp and ive started by making craddosk and bossk skin 3 more to go im thinkin GURSSK , SCRUG, and something else then its onto 5 mando skins, sheesh JODO KAST,JANGO FETT,BOBA FETT and another 2 dunno yet. yayyy

  4. ive worked out the skin allocations for modskins so you can play lan with diff skins.

    ranger is 40 -mp_b

    nightops is 38 mp_a

    recon is mp_c

    sniper is 07

    demolitions is 62 mp_d

    im gonna get to work on doin a mp trando skins mod set maybe with bossk and craddosk

    the shaders for the cloneskins just appear to be lighteners for their respective assigned skin. yaayyy

  5. Hey hockey i have your mod cloneskins made up as clikinstallers and a few others also

    and i seperated your supergun mod from the overall hockeymod and have that as a seperate install and also the 4AI maps as a seperate install

    i will need to get to doing an installer of the overall hockey mod as a whole unit but it would be bettr if we could fix the 2 map faults and even better if more AI maps could be added and maybe have a choice of 6 cloneskins. i think your on track to doing a really good mod.

Gamma097 xfire i will add you as u hopefully can help me. due to your helpful post on texture editing. i wondered about editing the mp textures. what i would also have to do is edit the shader textures accompanying the respective mp textures. any idea. for example say i altered the mp trando skins to bossks outfit orange jumpsuit and white vest i would need to change the mp shaders.??!!

  9. iv not tried the create initialler thing yet as i said you would need to have a seperate folder running parallel in gamedata folder and that also involves having a new PRO.ctm and PROLOGUE.ctm map i think. but what i did do before for another mod succesffully was. (i dont use desktop shorty for rc as xfire seems to interfere withit)i sent to desktop a launch rc shortcut then had another rc icon and swapped it for the other icon via properties .

  10. you notice the chek box for include sub directories is tikkd. then next and you can pik the language if u want for different countries. then title it 4AI MAPS and clik next.next again .and for the left bitmap cell i choose your image .bmp to use preview to chek size resize it then next .then i copy and paste from the read me wordpad i created into the cell then clik next then add contact details if any or disclaimer whatever...clik next and in the cell must be C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Republic Commando\GameData\

    then clik next ,next again ,next again tik box for uninstall program clik next ,finish .save ina my documents as 4AI MAPS it will build the installer then shut it down and you have your created clikinstaller.

  11. so say for instance right now i will guide you thru how i made your maps in clikinstaller and i will upload it to my filefront . i create a folder on desktop called "4AI MAPS" inside that i create a folder called Maps exactly the same name as the extract destination and inside the Maps folder i place your maps .then i create a wordpad file called "4AI MAPS READ ME" and i type on the relevant info release notes etc.and save that to the

    4AI MAPS folder so it will extract to GameData folder.next im going to put your pic as a .bmp in the margin of the clikinstaller so it looks better. so i start up install creator click next to continue and then Browse choosing 4AI MAPS folder as directory containing your files

    i seperated all your skin mods into seperate installers all the same style . the clikinstaller extracts your custom cloneskin to textures folder and original backup cloneskin loose to gamedata folder so when u want to change back its a case of drag and drop.as an uninstall clikintaller would not workas you are overwriting existing files soto speak..if im creating clikinstallers for maps i tend not to make them uninstall.because it would clog up the programs dropdown with so many maps.as uninstall pograms but for public release i suppose its maybe bettr making them uninstall..

The good thing about clikinstaller is its more foolproof for people that arent so pc savvy than say winrar cos you have to extract to the general area and move the files your self.which puts a lot of people off. and when you create the clikinstaller you pik the extract path as the default when you make it so its automatic for anyone else who uses your created clikinstall, bad if you make a mistake setting it and dont notice though lol.tho even then when someone else use your created clikinstall they can change the extractpath it just auto has the one you pikkd when you made it.so if they stuff it up by changing the extract path its not your fault,ha

  14. and its a more simple way just a case of drag and drop the texture in the Textures folder when you want to change back. when u make the clikinstaller it only really extracts to 1 general area as far as i know ,which you designate.so say you are creating your supergun mod you have your original folder called say supergun mod and inside that folder you have seperate folders named exactly the same as the folders you are extracting to.Textures , Maps ,System whatever. each folder containing the respective files you are going to supplant or add. because your mod as awhole clonetrooper was supplanting certain values iot cant be made as an uninstall program. ifit was adding files ie mapfiles or extra custom textures it could be uninstall

  15. cos normally if u wanted to have an uninstall prog it would have to work in parallel folder inside gamedata with a desktopinitialler and loading screen as well. sure il guide you thru what i did. ill start with how i made your cloneskin mod as installers.you have to have a folder say called neon squad and inside that you have to have a folder again called "Textures" the exact same name as the folder you are going to extract your file to and inside the textures folder you have your neon cloneskin.utx i also put an original cloneskin.utx loose inside the neon squad folder so the installer will be designated to extract to GameData folder and the original cloneskin.utx will just lie there and because your neon cloneskin.utx is inside the Textures folder it will supplant the existing cloneskin.utx

    the tool i used is called install creator. its what a lot of the map installers on sandcrawler site are.when u download it and install it it will create a desktop shorty. wel it has a chekbox for an uninstaller already marked in it for when u create. but that will only work for basic things that you are adding not if u supplant existing values. ie if you add extra textures or maps or system files what it will do is let you uninstall .

    thats how i came up with the idea when i noticed your mod supplanted existing values that i could make a clikinstaller of the original values of the files u modded which when i put in another clikinstaller which installs the mod also extracts the original values clikinstaller to gamedata folder so when you want to change back you just use that and it overwrites the mod values without having to reinstall..

  18. ah hockey if you have any rc maps with ai i could have would b great and appreciated. i got your mod and i modded it slightly myself. lol i seperated the supergun mod and put itin a clikinstaller and i also put a clikinstaller with original values init to extract to gamedata folder so u dont hav to reinstall rc. i also added another 2skins to your mod to make it 5 skins and redid it as a whole as a clikinstaller with a clikinstaller included of original values to reset the overall mod without having to reinstall.

    i also seperated all your skins and made them as seperate clikinstallers that supplant the existing clone texture and extract an original clone utx to gamedata folder so its a simple case of dragging original to textures folder when anyone wants to revert. regards fraz.

  19. theres a guy on sandcrawler called rc-1266 and hes makin sum co-op maps with AI and wants to make a series of them. perhaps you could hook up. he made a map called co-op crater. iv seen your maps in the mod and maybe you could do the same for the remaining 5maps form stock MP and get someone to help fix the 2 bugs in 2 of those maps the hangar wall and the gunship crash. or even AI for mods for the other modmaps bigones like mos eisley or warzone or ds beach etc. would b kool. regards fraz

  20. hi hockey i browsed the lucasforums and saw your posts and it rang a bell that id downloaded your clonetrooper mod a few months ago. id also found your beskarmedia site previous to that but the supermod links on it are bust apart from your cloneskin links.. i dunno if your familiar with sandcrawler forum but heres a link.
