I'm getting tired of saying the release date must be coming soon... But the release date must be coming soon...

Spoilers - It's frigging awesome 😉 Also, i will also be going dark when we get a release date. I honestly wish i didn't see some of the reveals in the monkey madness.

Yeah i feel like your onto something. I could see it being seperate from the monkey mondays. Ok i'm betting a 3-headed monkey 🍌 that we will get a second trailer and release date at Gamecom 2022 Gamescom 2022 24-28 August 2022 I kinda predicted nintendo direct so i'm going to use my fortune powers for good and say it will be at Gamescom

Good point, i feel like if its not this monday then it will be sometime this month. But yeah the release date reveal is a mystery to me. I'm not sure if they are planning another trailer with the release date or if they are just going to do a surprise launch trailer on the final Monkey Monday.

So any predictions of what the next Monkey Monday will be? I assume it will be another character reveal. Probably Elaine. I'm honestly amazed they still haven't shown off how the inventory works or a puzzle.

Yeah its growing on me, just caught me off guard. It makes me think of how the Joker can switch his pitch up and down and it adds to the craziness. Random thought... what if Mark Hamill voiced Le Chuck?

Yep... i'm already adusting to the voice. Its weird as the pitch of the voice goes up and down. When its down, for a second i hear a bit of Earl. Oh wow yeah this must be the same part of the game as it has the same weather. So everyone... where do you think this fits in the game? My bet is we start at the carnival, then it leads to a confrontation on the ship with Le Chuck. Guybrush and Lechuck propose a truce and head to Melee Island to confront the voodoo lady?

Going to be honest not a fan of the voice. I'm glad they went for something different than Earl Boen but I hoped they find someone with a more sinister voice. This voice feels more comical than threatening. But I have a feeling it will grow on me just like the art style did. Update: the more i relisten to it the more i'm already starting to adjust to it. 😁 P.s props to people who guessed Lechuck, I was way off with my guess.

I love crazy theories like this and I wouldn't put it past Ron. Ron mentioned he once had an idea for Guybrush set a 1000 years in the future. So i don't think time travel is out of the question.

If Ron is serious and not pranking us then i think its either Stan or Murray. Ron knows that they are both fan favourites. In fact, I'm calling it now the next video will be this scene with Murray:

I also would like a different take on Le Chuck's voice. No offence to the voice actor who voiced Le Chuck for Tales in episode 1 but I found it jarring where it drifted in and out of sounding like Earl Boen and then not. I think its better to have a voice actor do their own thing, i'm also all for an even more sinister threatening voice.

Knowing Ron he's messing with us and its a obscure returning character like the guy who sales you the map in mi1 or the rat from m1 and m2. 😂

I honestly can't wait to see this iconic area in Return of Monkey Island. 😍 I'm happy they haven't shown it yet. Also do you think the Voodoo lady is in the same room as Secret of Monkey Island?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there are even more returning characters we haven't seen yet. I doubt they'd want to spoil all the cameos and returning characters before the game comes out. I think the reason why there is more returning characters in this game than any other is because according to the website, this is the conclusion to the Monkey Island series. If that's true then it makes sense to bring back alot of characters to wrap it up nicely. Oh while its on my mind, do you all really think this is the final Monkey Island?

Hmm I could see that being the case because we haven't seen anything outside the docks, lookout spot , town or governor mansion which could all be explored together without leaving the map. So its entirely possible we only explore a limited chunk of Melee Island with no map to walk around.

So i noticed they've been showing alot of Melee Island. Do you think all old locations will be present (circus, forest, bridge, Stan's old ship area, Meathooks house etc) Also with the new key shop, do you expect more locations we haven't seen on Melee Island.

Sorry for the moan a second a go. On a more positive note, the pirates in this shot really remind of hd spirites of mi 1 or 2. Its really clever how much it captured the feel of sprites (where you can make out what they are but there is room to use your imagination to fill in the blanks) while still being modern. Also the background is great too. Omg your right! I didn't recognise them straight away. At first I thought the 3 pirates in the scumm bar were reimagined versions of them. I didn't realise they were new characters.

Curse my overhyping personality... I thought we'd at least get something new gameplay wise like showing us how puzzles work, or our inventory. I really dont want to see more rooms as its just going to spoil the surprise and take away from exploration. If i had a release date I'd stop checking these and just wait it out haha Its weird... this feels like step down from last weeks which had dialogue and 2 rooms. It feels like it should have been posted earlier maybe before the Melee Island clip.
