Sithxace
i feel the same way, like there was ni story behind the missions and if thats exactly like the real game gonna not be as good as imagined. The story it was missing also it just sends you right into a level without knowing too muchg whats going on or background.
FurionStormrage
Okay, at the risk of sounding completely batty... Did anyone notice that the Dart Maul race female does better with the staff than the other races? I have no idea if this is a valid observation or not but when I played the DM female I barely got touched on Jedi Master level throughout most of the two levels. I know it sounds stupid... luXor
I'm stuck on the Chandrilla level. I can't figure out what to do in the big open room with big doors all around. I used force sense and saw some crazy symbol on the door but I can't figure out where to go. Anyone know where I can find a walkthrough?

Anyone know where I can find a walkthrough? Here's some help... Use Force Sense, stand on the symbol on the ground, and use Force Pull on the door, but make sure you aim at the symbol on the door when you pull. Hope this helps! I suspect these levels are just the 'mini-missions' between the key story arc missions. We already know there will be 3 tiers of missions, and that after each tier, you will play a mission focused on the over-arching storyline. The mini-missions are only supposed to give you glimpses into the key events...while you are undertaking other tasks. They are basically like the 'diplomatic' missions the Jedi used to be sent on, to investigate problems etc. I do agree, though, that the 'story' for each little mission could so far be better realised. You're basically told what you need to know before the mission starts - and there is no real 'discovery' of new information within the levels themselves. boinga1
They removed the storyline FROM the demo, so they would avoid giving spoilers and plotline away.
yolkboy
Originally posted by StormHammer Minor issues... When I first ran the demo, there was a sound glitch, like a scratchy crackle. I had to tweak the settings and do a cold reboot, and turn off EAX support to get rid of it. I had one complete lock-up - crash to desktop - and one 'white-out' on level load. A few other minor graphical glitches...which I put down to the Radeon card in my system. It still hates NOLF2...and was pretty glitchy with the Tron 2 demo as well, so ATI still haven't got their drivers right. *kicks ATI* I also get the scratchy crackle when I run the demo at the beginning of the missions. I like my EAX hope that isn't a problem in the full version. What other minor graphics glitches did you notice with your ATI card?
Matthewd
For those having trouble running up walls, you have to tap the jump key then you will flip off when you let go of the up key or press jump again.
Astrotoy7
Hi All ! I love the demo. I think many of us have come to expect something spectacular when we load a lucasarts title for the first time. I was really depressed for about 10 seconds when JO didnt have snazzy FMVs like JK, but when I got to using the sabre, slicing stormies it was this star wars gamer's dream come true.... You have to remember the people at Raven are doing the 'try to make everyone happy' thing, and to change a winning formula too much would be potentially disastrous for them... As for me, for the first time in the JK series, I really have a feel for the sabre moves, i love how you can look them up ! The double sabers and the double hilted sabers are amazing. Its not really a gripe but that two bladed thing takes up a lot of room, it makes things a bit awkward it tight spaces...but once you get runnin its fine ! The only thing thats a bit funny is the CRAP talking heads of luke and kyle, they could have made that look a bit better, but then again it in no way detracts from the game !!!! So, even before I play the full version, I'd like to say a big congrats to the raven team !!!!!! MTFBWYA As for you detractors, go put on a towel as a cape and play warcraft or somethin ! But still, your opinion is valuable !!!

Well...when I walked over the Force sigil on the floor in the Jedi Temple level...the simple shadow broke up the texture and it flickered. I had similar problems in UT2003 until I downloaded the latest patches for both the game and the ATI card. That sort of thing...which I've come to expect from my Radeon card. I just thank providence it's not glitching like NOLF2...where parts of walls are missing, and huge polygons fill what are supposed to be open spaces. *kicks Radeon card* I also fiddled with the Footsteps option under the settings, when I was trying to fix the sound. Try doing that if nothing else has solved the issue.

Man, you didn't have to crush my little world that coldly, did ya' Well, I don't mind very much if that is the case. I play for fun, not for choosing between x number of character customization options. I felt kinda unique in JO though... Hardly anyone seemed to use the jedi/j2 skin...
