Father Torque
Personally I dont believe stuff like this. I think its a bunch of sci-fi hoo ha. Time travel seems awesome but it defies the laws of basically ever scientific law. Time travel is virtually impossible. So on to this John Titor guy. If he had pictures of his owners manual, why didnt people take the info and send it to scientists. And have them build it. It seems like a bunch of made up stuff to gain publiscity. Also, you all remember 2000 the year of y2k. Dont you think that would be the perfect time to baffle people. I mean so many people believed in the y2k "incident" that they would probably believe anything at the time. Also 2036. Ok the guy must be pretty smart to build a time machine. And it takes quite a while to discover that much nowledge. In a field that has barely ever been touched by scientists. And to figure that all out. It would take years and years. So you guess his age would be around 40. Since atleast 10 years of research plus the amount of time it would take to go through college with that intensity of a field. So why would he want to come back to a time when he was 4. It just seems like some corny plot to make people believe in th silliest of things:)

Ya, I kinda noticed that too. The whole story is way to broad. It doesnt have any feeling of seriousness in it. It sounds cheesy and fake:)
Darth Eggplant
why would anyone time travel 20 odd years? thats like taking an airoplane to the corner store for cigarettes.
BCanr2d2
I haven't read it, but assume that it is fake anyway..... Torquey, you are basing your scientific facts on how we currently understand physics to work. Something could get disproven, all of a sudden certain ideas and things can be possible.....
