building locations in our town

Hi guys. I just want to say that i really like the way our town is laid out (around a T shaped high street really.) In the future, when we eventually get mounts and vehicles we will be able to park out side our houses and drive down our streets

 

There is one thing that worries me tho, when the player city buildings come out, i hope that we wont place them in the centre of the 'road'..............

We'd probably redeed our houses and move stuff around

 

I'd say have all the things like a bank where the crafters are now, and have us branch out.

 

Put big stuff like shuttleport in the empty space...(like below the "cross" of the T)

yeah branching out into more streets would b good, perhaps we can do it in blocks like you have in the states!

We could potentially do blocks...

 

It is just that my idea could work with 4 houses and up....but not well till you get more..

 

Blocks would take alot...6 and up....but to get real good blocks you w ould want like 20 houses and up

 

Oh and define blocks...like do you mean lots of squares each one having a few houses or do you mean lots of little streets coming off a big street?

I think he means both. I think doing a pentagonal type layout with the bank, crafting stations and PA Hall in the middle would look really cool.

well i have been looking at th designes for the player bank.. and it doesnt look thta big.... i was thinking of putting that in the middle of the main street.

We could make the PA Hall and houses sort of the " PA neighborhood". Outside of it we could have "downtown" (cloning, banking, cantina, med center etc...). And outside of that we could have "no pa neighborhood" were all our admirers will live.
