Hellbeard Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 Okay, when is the next LEC adventure game coming out? Cause I've been playing the heck out of all my games and I've really got a hankering for a new one. and as Im sure most of you guys know, you can only play the same adventure games for so long. Is it FF2?
ThunderPeel2001 Posted October 13, 2003 Posted October 13, 2003 FF2? Final Fantasy 2? If you meant Full Throttle 2, I assume you're light-years behind the news... it's been cancelled! Sam & Max 2 looks to be the next LA adventure game. If I were you I'd hunt down some older games made by another company and enjoy them instead! ~ John
Hellbeard Posted October 14, 2003 Author Posted October 14, 2003 IT WAS CANCELLED!? well nuts, guess I'll just have to wait for Sam & Max 2. btw, Lightyears refer to distance, not time....
HenryJonesJr. Posted October 14, 2003 Posted October 14, 2003 Sierra Games are really good, go and check out king quest if you havent, also, has anybody played simon the sorcerer?
elTee Posted October 14, 2003 Posted October 14, 2003 Originally posted by Hellbeard btw, Lightyears refer to distance, not time.... You can say "you're miles behind the news" and no-one moans - miles is also distance, not time. ThunderPeels' statement is valid.
ThunderPeel2001 Posted October 15, 2003 Posted October 15, 2003 Thank you, LucasTones, very well said! Simon the Sorcerer. Yep, played that and pretty much hated it, although it is popular, so it could just be me. I point you in the direction of http://www.revolution.co.uk , myself, seeing how they've made their first two games freeware! ~ John
Hellbeard Posted October 16, 2003 Author Posted October 16, 2003 Okay, first the light years thing was a joke, I heard it on TV or something before and also, where abouts can I buy some of these older games? I mean other than Ebay...... and also, what is the next Lucas Arts adventure game to come out?
ThunderPeel2001 Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 Okaaaay. Like I said, the first two games from revolution are now available for FREE -- LEGALLY! I'd recommend Beneath A Steel Sky which is now available at http://www.scummvm.org After that you can consider buying things! Lol!
