ragou Posted October 18, 2003 Posted October 18, 2003 P. G. "Plum" Wodehouse is one of my favourite authors. The stories about Jeeves and Wooster are simply genious. Now Wodehouse also invented the character Hon. Galahad Wodehouse. What I wonder is if Guybrush got his surname as an homage to Wodehouse or if it is uncorrelated?
Remi Posted October 18, 2003 Posted October 18, 2003 From what I've heard (as also seen here): Threepwood was decided in a company contest - the name comes from the book "The Brinkmanship of Galahad Threepwood" (US title). "Threepwood" is also rumoured to be the name of Dave Grossman's character in RPGs.
ragou Posted October 21, 2003 Author Posted October 21, 2003 Ah, then it is Wodehouse. Wodehouse is a genious.
Jake Posted October 29, 2003 Posted October 29, 2003 I thought it was Grossman's friend or brother or something who played with that character name Also: WOO 1000 POSTS
