Web space on the LF's server

hi, I know peeps join the LF each and every day, and I notice sometimes traffic is so heavy the server goes down, I also figure your bandwidth for these forums must be like KaGigamega millions or something. what I was wonder \sugguesting is why not have old threads just deleted and wiped clean from memory? I mean you could maybe keep 2 back up pages, but after that, if a thread drops to the 4th page it just goes byte bye. I mean each forum community has sub topics and some of those subtopics can have like 10 plus pages besides the most recent posts, if every community got rid of all their old postings, a lot of bandwith would be opened. it's just a passing thought i had.

No, and it wouldn't matter anyways. If we had no post counts, no one would spam. ;)

i agree, disk space and bandwidth arent the same thing, get rid of one, wouldnt reduce the other (unless an excess amount of content is deleted, would :p)

LF just needs more servers
