Jedi Academy is still JKII, just with stuff added to it to make it better to play and look prettier to boot!! *Continues to point at the 'JKII' logo on Jedi Academy* http://www.lucasarts.com/products/jediacademy/index2.html Sry to yell, but seriously, you all get me thinking that I've missed a crap load of news about LucasArts making a new game in the Jedi Knight Series
Samuel Dravis
Ummm. LucasArts announced it as the next full installment in the Jedi Knight series. Therefore it is Jedi Knight III. You have problems.
Kurgan
*puts on snooty pair of spectacles and looks down nose* Ahem. Don't you mean it should be titled Dark Forces IV: Jedi Knight III: Jedi Outcast II: Jedi Academy? *stampeded to death by herd of mad llamas*
Samuel Dravis
Don't give him ideas. And give me back my llamas.
Neverhoodian
ROFL! Mad llamas! good one! Even if it isn't officially confirmed, everyone is calling it JK3 by now. Calling the next game JK3 would confuse people.
boinga1
Fine. You may beleive that the Raven team spent 1 1/2 years to creat e MOD for Jedi Outcast. That is your right and choice. However, it is rude, thoughtless, inconsiderate, and overall, folly. There is, for the record, no "JKII" logo on the Jedi Academy box. I the logo is marginally different, after all, and I prefer to think of it as the new Jedi Knight series logo. To each his own.
Sam Fisher
It may seem a mod, but WHY WON'T YOU GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD that it is not an expansion. Lucasarts even said that it isn't. Duh.
Pvt_Dancer
Man! This is the lamest topic to argue over that I have seen since I've been coming to these boards.

Neverhoodian
Agreed. Some of the JA topics (particularly discussing a game patch) have been pretty bad. Unfortunately, I rather lost my head debating in a thread once by telling people in a sarcasm-thick way that there's more to life than computer games and got flamed. (though admittedly, I'm partly to blame due to my post's tone, but I was getting frustrated)
-[MotU]-Lyger|=-
Let's just say it is JK3. Cause Technicaly that's what it is. The 3rd Jedi Knight game.
Dracofyre
Considering that expansion packs are never longer than the original game (JKA has a couple more missions than JKO), I doubt JKA would be an expansion. Regardless, when you get down to brass tacks, aren't JKO and JKA just Quake 3 mods? *ding* 2 points for me
