Exploit--is this known by the devs?

I'll call it the sabre-on bug. Have folks discussed a bug here before related to turning on the sabre? I don't wish to go into too much detail (although it isn't a problem for MP because you need a willing victim) but it should probably be addressed in the next patch.

Without more information, none of us will be able to determine if it has been discussed, since there are over 200 threads in Jedi Academy Forums alone, plus another 100 in Technical Help on JA issues.

prolly won't matter much.

If you have a willing participant, you can go up to them, and ignite your sabre through them. Then, assuming the ignitee doesn't move, you can go anywhere, and with a roll-stab kill them by remote control.

(I will refrain from making any Red Wings biased comments about your icon :D )

99% of all public ffa saber only servers in Jedi Outcast had nothing but that.

/glad it has not become that bad in Academy.

That bug is even more general.

You can also be far from the player, turn your saber off (aligning it with his body) and u can roll stab in line infront or behind him.

This bug can also be done with katas and other moves, but I dont really know how to do this, i have just done it a couple of times by luck, but its the same concept.

Email or PM it to the Raven Devs (ChangKhan = Mike Gummelt, emorog = James Monroe, etc Kenn Hoekstra is a good guy to email about that stuff too).

And post about it in the "Full version bugs" sticky thread.

Never heard of those, but if so, they should be fixed hopefully.
