Yufster
Actually, I hate to admit this, but it's crap. There are about 10000 other amateur games out there, that are 10000 times better. How do you make it? Well firstly, sing your praises to the Almighty Jesus Chris. Yes, Jesus CHRIS. For Chris Jones was the creator of AGS. With AGS, you just need to learn a little programming and do some graphics and art and voila! You can make anything from a Sierra Crap Game, to a LucasArts AWESOME game! And there is nearly no graphical barrier... just whatever you want to/ can do. And it's free. Second... I AM marketing it. Usually I wouldn't, because most AGS games are freeware, created out of love of the adventure genre. I am the owner of a weeee little mini company in school, and our product is a computer game. I made it, the other girls share the profits. But anyway, I only sell it to school people. You and everybody else on the internet get it for completely free. As I always intended it to be. Third... it's really not that good, it's just you haven't seen some games made with the AGS engine. For a start, download Apprentice, Pleughburg, the FoY rolling demo, Bucanneer, Pirate Fry, Who wants to Live Forever... wow, the list is goddamned ENDLESS of awesome games. There are people on AGS with so much talent, like Miez, M0ds, Helm, Squinky (Unrelated to LucasForums Squinky) DaveGilbert (Unrelated to ANYbody at LucasArts, in case you're wondering) Igor... The AGS forums are full of really talented, helpful people and prolly half of them are gonna be gaming industry icons in the future. There's also hundreds of awesome games and suchlike. Mine rates very low, probably.

Zoom Rabbit
Yunnow, Yufster, when I was your age I wrote a computer game in basic; in fact, I found my print-out copy of the program in a box of old stuff just a few months ago, although I doubt there's a computer running that could use the language. The subject matter? Star Trek. That's right, I said the program was written in BASIC! 10 PRINT"Zoom Rabbit is your daddy" 20 GOTO 10 30 END *(Dies of extreme old age.)*
Shivermetimbers
Basic is like writing programs for graphing calculators.(Which yes, I can do, and yes, I am a nerd) Only worse. We used to have to learn bits of it in geometry when I was a freshman. It sucked beyond words. Heehee now I can play all over again and it'll be even better! Anyway, I hadn't really played it until last night, when I stayed up until 2 am doing so. I could have sworn I was the Double Fine babies in there a couple times. Actually, I do swear. Watch. RicardoLuigi...
i have the tickly rope....but i can't use it on the ridiculous drop. where is the ridiculous drop?
Yufster
combine the TICKLY ROPE AND THE FEATHER to use it on the drop. The drop is the room ABOVE where the guard is. If Andy likes it, I'm happy!!! And yes the Double Fine Babies made Camios. Many camios. How could I not include SOMEthing related to my darling Double Fine? Actually I think they made THREE appearances in total but I'm not overly sure. Also, in case you're wondering about the ending... Yes, the ending is based on MI2. This was my first game and I wanted to make something familiar. The end was originally NOT based on MI2, and originally, Ian didn't die. But I had to cut a large chunk out of the game in order to finish it in time. So I figured that since in the dream world, dying isn't always a bad thing, I'd have him die, and then the design doc started to look a bit like the ending of MI2. So I stuck with it. Yufster
Carl, you remind me of Max from Sam n Max. Your constant negativity is actually really cute. Download the new updated version for COOLER stuff, or just USE WINDOW. In the new version, you don't have to use it. It uses itself! This is just one of the many bug fixes in V2!!! RicardoLuigi...
i couldn't get out of the attic either, until i figured out the problem. you need to walk out of the window, but you have to make sure the command says walk. i couldn't get it back to walk until i finally realized you just right click or, if you mean you can't get off the roof and you've gone out of the attic...then use the sleeping pills with the drop off the roof.
