So true. On my first time through, I had a certain side-quest that didn't turn out as I had hoped, despite my trying ... this time I spent a while looking at the dialogue options and trying to see the subtle turn of feelings needed to make things work as I wanted.

 

It is also great that you can use the force and your place as a Jedi to do good for individuals as well as the galaxy.

 

Also, I really like how the light/dark side and force powers are implemented in the game. I like the "force meter", and I really like how the powers associated with your morality are "cheaper" to use than the opposite ones. I would say that this is the most effective system for the Force that I have seen in a game so far.
It is again so true ... as a level 6/14 Scoundrel/Consular with full light side bonus, heal, stasis field, immunity and so on I was casting from behind with almost no impact to my force meter while my 'front line' took on waves of enemies ...

I had to stay home from school for a week just to play this game. I just couldnt stop. It made me go to bed at 7 AM and wake up at 12-13, and then continue playing for most of the day. Its so damn addictive!

 

After finishing it the first time, I immediatly started over, and played for 19 hours straight, just before going out into the cold just to stand in line for tickets for the return of the king..

 

Jeez, I gotta install this game. Its highly influencing my life.. I just cant stop playing!!

AAAAARGH ITS SOOO FRUSTRATING!!! THE GAME AND THE XBOX ARE RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE BUT I CANT PLAY TIL CHRISTMAS!!! *sob* I CANT WAIT 10 MORE DAYS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!! I just wanna run take lots of money, run away, buy a little TV, find a plug somewhere and start playing...DARN ALL MY MONEY IS IN THE BANK AND MY MOM HAS MY BANK CARD!!! I think its probably good to avoid this forum too, it just makes you want to play more........ come back when you start playing, Grasshopper, in the meantime, Patience......

;) Don't worry you all aren't the only ones addicted. I've had the game since my birthday in Aug. I've beaten the game probably 10 times and still having fun with it. The first time playing I couldn't put it down until I beat it (all weekend)!!! Can't wait till the next one comes out, even though it won't be a true sequel.:(

I've finished my 2nd time through ... first as a Scoundrel/Consular, 2nd as Soldier/Guardian ... both uber-light.

 

I'm giving it a shot as Dark Side. This will be tough, as it is not my nature. So I'm playing as a Female character, Trislyn Jast (nothing sexist intended, it is just a degree of separation that will hopefully make it easier to make dark choices). We'll see ... I'm trying Soldier/Consular, probably 5/15 again, and I've already racked up some nice dark points ...

Im finding light to be hard sometimes.

 

There was this dark jedi apprentice guy with 2 mates in the sith base on maan. He was waffleing on about something and then when my responses came up..... something like:

The dark side is bad and you should not do it (or something)

The last choice was:" I cant wait to gut you". I liked this response as I thought it was good reply to the evil guy. :D

But i was awarded dark points.... load up again :( and "be nice" :(

 

I also love the bastilla cheeky options, im always hitting on her like han solo to leia, but when she gets all hot and bothered (hmmm yum yum) I back off a bit and get all "nice", but she knows I want to get into her robes :p

Sorry guys, I'll be around more when I actually start playing....which will be over the holiday vacation, when my new computer that's capable of playing KOTOR will be set up. :D

 

But I'm pretty sure I'll be addicted.

I love this game ! :D

 

 

HK-47 is the best droid personality ever ! R2-D Who ? :D C-3P Who ? :p

 

But one thing that dissapointed me was they didn't go into why Malak wears that metal brace over where is mouth and jaw would be. :(

 

And another dissapointment was that although where told Revan & Malak found the Star Forge and obviously made the Sith Armada from that, it's they never told us how they went to the Dark Side ? Did the Forge courrupt them inside ? Did they...what dammit tell me ! :D

 

I'd have liked to known more about Malak & Revan, but we can't have everything.... :(

 

I hope for MORE characther backgrounds, quests and depths of there past in KOTOR 2, if there is to be a sequel of course. :)

 

 

*runs off to play KOTOR and complete for the 2nd time* :D
