pbguy1211
dude, the 28th isnt a playoff game. that's week 17. playoffs start the week after. then again, that sentence totally confused me... i'll go mulling over mel kiper's projections for my steelers... Artoo
He meant that the playoff game date was To Be Announced on December 28th. Of course I'm more of a college sports person myself... but ever since the wonderful job the BCS did this year I've been without direction as to what sport to watch... if any. Women's soccer does have its benefits...

Tie Guy
Yes! My hometown team is going to playoffs at last! I went to the last playoff game they were in, but couldn't get tickets to this one. Still, the Panthers are going to the Superbowl!

SE_Vader_536
judging by the way they've played thats hard to say... Once again, even with the loss to the 49ers, Eagles still are on top this year. I mean how can you think a nine straight win team can't?

WolfmanNCSU
Lord knows I am pulling for the Panthers. John Fox did one heck of a year rebuilding the team. I knew we where good, but I did not know we would be playoff material. I want to see some revenge on Dallas. I hope Stephen Davis runs all through them. We met Dallas the first time we went to the playoff in the wild card round in Charolette and sent them home before, lets do it again. GO CATS GO! Snafu7
well, I'm a Packers fan, and I was over joyed when the cardinals beat the vikings at the last second with that great catch in the back of the end-zone. Packers are in the play-offs!
Darth Homer
That was an amazing play...I couldn't believe that the Viks let the Cardinals do that...simply amazing update on my status as well, my tickets seem to be up in the air...apparently my order was canceled, though I do not know why. I have contacted ticketmaster's cust support, but have not heard back yet...I will be very angry if I do not get to go to the game...word to the wise, do not ever try to buy tickets to this sort of event on-line. WolfmanNCSU
Ouch, sorry to hear about your seats. I will be watching the game on TV. I will be looking in the rafters to see if I can find ya.
Darth Homer
Well, I'm officially hosed...their system screwed up and didn't take the changes I made and so I'm not going to the game. I will never again even think about buying tickets from ticketmaster online and it will take me a long time to trust them at all again. I'll be watching from home as well, Wolfman... edit: yes, I got a refund didn't feel like posting again to add that
WolfmanNCSU
Ouch, sucks to hear that bro. I know I would be real pissed too if the same thing happened to me. You at least got a refund, correct?
Tie Guy
WOOHOO! Just got back from the game (my grandfather came through with some tickets), and it was AWESOME! We're talking total DOMINATION! Panthers are going to Super Bowl! Bring on the Rams!
Darth Homer
[Cartman]I hate you, fergie...I hate you so much...[/cartman] Seriously though, congrats on the tickets, looked like an awesome time from at home... Go Panthers!! Next the Rams, then the NFC Championship, then Superbowl Champs!! We're goin all the way Baby!!
darthfergie
O_O well I don't like you much either Homer! *cries and runs away* Panthers have always been a really darkhorse team all year long, so it was deffinatly somewhat of a shock to see them bowl over a hyped Cowboys squad. The Rams were also somewhat of a darkhorse team. After the first game with Warner's horrible performance I told myself "well there went their year." They bounced back from that debacle with startling energy though and made it into the playoffs once again. But I'm still sticking with the Titans as my Superbowl team. Clefo
First off: Yes I did say the Panthers would lose in the first round (I was wrong), but I did make that announcement before their opponent was selected (I honestly thought it would be the Packers) But, they played the Cowboys, who have Quincy Carter, who is the equivilent a Joel Schumacher film. (I'll go out on a limb and say that the Rams beat them and Chris Berman stops that damn Day-o song with Jake Delhomme's name in it) (Go Broncos!) WolfmanNCSU
AWESOME!! I knew we would get back to the cowboys. Ericson is a hard place to play for the other team. I think we can get past St Louis if we keep out intensity. NFC game will be hard if we make it. We had trouble the last time we were in the playoffs in the NFC game. I would love to see the cats in the super bowl. WOW! I remember when the canes went to the stanely cup a few years back. It was totally awesome around here. Snafu7
the packers beat seattle in overtime with an interception returned for a touchdown! I really didn't think that the game would be that close though. Go Pack!
Clefo
Oh man, I didn't just see that, did I? I mean, here are my Broncos favored to win by a lot of expert type people, and they get raped, prison style! After the first quarter I was flipping between that and "Viva La Bam", which they were showing a lot on MTV today. Going back to the game was a tramatic experience that I would remember for the rest of my life, so I dubbed the game: "The Abortion on KOLD Channel 7"
darthfergie
wow...that was one of the worst slaughters I've seen in a LONG time...wow... okay...indianapolis is going back up on the potential superbowl bandwagon list.
Snafu7
Well, I watched the packers on Sunday and sadly watched them lose to the eagles. I guess I'm cheering for the panthers now.
