tFighterPilot Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 No, it moves when I give it reset XForm. Do it like you did it the first time.
LightNinja Posted January 5, 2004 Author Posted January 5, 2004 man u must think that im stupid, but what do you mean now
tFighterPilot Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 The first time I asked you to fix it, you did it very well, besides the fact that it faced the opposite direction. This time, though, when I gave it reset XForm, and pressed on the editable mesh modifier, it looked the other way around.
LightNinja Posted January 5, 2004 Author Posted January 5, 2004 so you mean that i have to make it look to the opposite and then press reset Xform, etc again, dont you?
LightNinja Posted January 5, 2004 Author Posted January 5, 2004 Ok, i just took the first AT-PT, moved it 180º and everything got crazy; then i put everything in it place, then i did an Xform reset and you know the next part of the job.. , also i hope to get 100 post today =D
tFighterPilot Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I'm out of ideas Maybe I'll send it to someone who will know what to do EDIT: It's probably the bones, I'll try fixing it tomorrow
LightNinja Posted January 6, 2004 Author Posted January 6, 2004 ok, but the max that i sent u was right, right?
LightNinja Posted January 17, 2004 Author Posted January 17, 2004 Go to JA Modelling: That doesnt looks good thread
LightNinja Posted January 18, 2004 Author Posted January 18, 2004 Mmmh, i have remembered that scouttrooper was doing the skin (i frgot ), i hope see screenshots soon of hows going =p
LightNinja Posted January 29, 2004 Author Posted January 29, 2004 since scouttrooper seems that is not doing the skin i'll try again to do it myself... =/
tFighterPilot Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 The model has bigger problems. I sent it to CortoCG, but didn't get any responce.
CortoCG Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 Don't despair. The model is fixed and everything gets compiled where it's supposed to be. Nice animation by the way, and great work on the mesh! Anyhow, one advice, don't scale the model on the editor, just change the scale factor on the .car file b4 compiling. Good luck!
tFighterPilot Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 Indeed it's good I already tested it in modview, and made a skin file. Now I only need to make the veh and npc files. Good luck with the skin LightNinja. I know I suck at skinning...
tFighterPilot Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 God damnit! When I look up and down, the head moves left and right!
CortoCG Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 Crap! Then something else must be wrong. Could you also send me the .car file you're using to compile it? I'm a little rusted you know, I have been learning Softimage lately and dedicated no time to JA modding.
LightNinja Posted January 29, 2004 Author Posted January 29, 2004 tfighter, send it to chontles@hotmail.com , i just need it to make the skin

Why would you need the car file? I can tell you it's content: $aseanimgrabinit $aseanimgrab models/players/at_pt/root.xsi -loop -1 $aseanimgrabfinalize $aseanimconvertmdx_noask models/players/at_pt/root -makeskel /models/players/at_pt/at_pt -origin 0 0 -143
